A judge has ordered a redo of the November 2022 election between Tami Pierce and DaSean Jones for the 180th District Court in Harris County after finding far more illegal votes were cast in the race than the margin of victory.
Pierce, a Republican, contested her 449-vote loss to Democrat incumbent Jones in January 2023, but the case was delayed for nearly a year by a motion to dismiss filed by Jones.
Judge David Peeples, a visiting judge from San Antonio, ruled Wednesday that the true outcome of the election cannot be determined and ordered a new election.
Following a bench trial in April, Peeples found that a total of 1,751 votes in the race should not have been counted, including nearly a thousand illegal votes cast by voters who resided outside of Harris County and more than four hundred cast by voters with no photo ID and incomplete “reasonable impediment” forms.

"The court has found that 1430 illegal votes were cast in the race for the 180th District Court and that it is not realistic or feasible to determine which candidate received those votes. The court has also found that a net margin of 321 votes (1146 to 825) were cast for Jones over Pierce in the extended one hour of voting on Election Day, which the court has found resulted from an official mistake by the Harris County Elections Administration Office."

I don’t think Obama legitimately won.
Recall how he railed about how “racist” Americans were after both elections.
If Pierce was to win the redo, do they just lose two years of their term?
“If Pierce was to win the redo, do they just lose two years of their term?”
That’s an interesting question and the article doesn’t address that issue.
Election recounts should only take a week at most.
Should, but that requires having a simple enough system that fraud is not a factor.
I have mixed feelings about the Australian ballot, and once the Australian ballot goes at all electronic and/or is disconnected from poll-watchers, all bets are off.
So...a “redo”. Using the same systems and protocols as the first one? Results will be the same.
In before “There is no evidence of voting irregularities.”
Gee, I thought the courts couldn’t do anything about stolen elections. Meh No Standing. Maybe in this case the judge isn’t scared about months of riots.
As usual, the democrat pulls out ahead in a razer close election.
When has a Republican ever won a close election against a Rat? It never happens, never. This has been going on for a hundred years.
A Republican wins on election day, only to lose a few days and weeks later when the Rat is able to “find” just enough ballots to pull ahead, and then magically the counting stops.
Surprised that a judge had the guts to order another election. No doubt, the Rat will win easily the second time, now that they know how many votes to manufacture. Where is Ruby Freeman? /spit
Here's an old post of mine from 2014 discussing the Romney-Obama vote differential:
The election came down to swing states, and to specific precincts in those swing states. So what happened in 2012?
Colorado went 51%-47% for Obama. Denver alone voted 209,759 to 69,755. In a city the size of Denver (pop. 634,265), Romney could only manage less than 70,000 votes?
9 Electoral votes for Obama from a difference of 137,948 votes.
Florida went 50%-49% for Obama. A squeaker. The vote difference was 74,309. Think about all the polling irregularities we heard from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, with Republican poll-watchers being kicked out for two hours until the police forced Democrats to let them back in. The vote difference in those three counties alone was 574,033.
29 Electoral votes for Obama from a 74,309 vote difference.
Iowa went 52%-46% for Obama from a 91,927 vote difference. Johnson county had a difference of 26,534 votes, and Linn county had a difference of 20,601 votes. That's half of the state differential right there.
6 Electoral votes for Obama from a 91,927 vote difference.
Virginia went 51%-48% for Obama from a difference of 149,298 votes. Fairfax county had a difference of 87,049 votes. Prince William county had a difference of 28,790 votes. Newport News had a difference of 23,766 votes. Hampton county had a difference of 32,540 votes. These are the heavy blue counties, and they overwhelm the rest of the state.
13 Electoral votes for Obama from 149,298 votes.
Add Ohio's 18 electoral votes from a 166,214 vote difference that came from Cuyahoga county, and it's clear that the election was decided by 1,193,729 suspicious votes from targeted counties in targeted states.

They’ll cheat even bigger and better. See ongoing thread about Nevada too.
Probably true. But we had the weakest candidates in both elections.
Well, now:
The Flying Pig state. /s
