Europe is already planning for what happens if Ukraine loses. It’s ugly

A Ukrainian loss, which could happen very soon if U.S. weapons don’t arrive, would ramp up Russian efforts to destabilize the governments of NATO countries and increase defense spending across the alliance, among other disastrous effects, Hanno Pevkur, Estonia’s Defense Minister, told reporters Friday.

When U.S. officials like President Joe Biden talk about why Ukraine matters, they rely on broad notions of democracy and the continuation of the international order—without specifically explaining what a Ukraine loss would mean for ordinary Americans. Perhaps because of this, Americans are evenly split on the question of whether the United States is doing too much for Ukraine.

Pevkur said one of the deliverables from last year’s NATO Summit in Vilnius was new battle plans for Eastern European countries should Ukraine fall.

“These plans address these different scenarios,” he said. “Of course, for obvious reasons I cannot be very specific, but I can assure you that these plans are shaped by looking at the possible Russian posture in our neighborhood.”

One of the likely consequences of a loss, he said, is a much larger and more dangerous Russian military.

I don’t think so.

A more dangerous Russia? They’ll need to replenish a lot first.

It’s always heartwarming to see two war pigs agree with one another.

Oh don’t worry the war front will be here soon enough.

You can then test your might on the streets here instead of your keyboard. ;)

Were I Russia, I would figure europe will go muslim and the bear will have to fight offensively for its life...hence it needs a buffer.

Or she needs to export Christianity. We all need Jesus, ‘badly’.

Americans used to solve problems.

Now they just cry like babies about it on a keyboard - sad!

I’m a problem solver.

Lloyd Austin is on record saying if Ukraine can’t win, then NATO will go to war with Russia.

1) Russia will steamroll Ukraine and conquer it in a week!
2) Russia is so weak! They’ve been fighting for months and they still can’t beat little Ukraine!
3) Russia is a joke! Ukraine is devastating the Russian army!
4) Ukraine is hanging on during this war of attrition! Both sides have lost massive amounts of men and materiel.
5) Russia is pulling WWII tanks out of museums because they have nothing else to fight with!
6) Ooops! Looks like Ukraine is basically done for.
7) ALERT! The mighty and unstoppable Russian army is going to steamroll all of Europe!!!!

It’s all BS. It’s all said to achieve a particular political goal, and it never is based on any foundation of truth. They say whatever is convenient.

European wars are not our wars. They become a problem for us only after we insert ourselves and tie our future to the future of one or more European nations. Foreign entanglements are bad, okay?

Who would have thought that the defense minister of one of the smallest states in the world would be a war pig? Its one thing to hide behind mommy NATO’s skirts. But to go poke sticks at the evil Putin is just inviting trouble.
