Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told donors and supporters at a private retreat last weekend that he plans to help raise money for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, according to three sources familiar with the matter.
“He did say it in front of a group of people at the Hard Rock,” a DeSantis adviser told NBC News.
A Trump campaign adviser said they were not aware that DeSantis was going to start raising money from them but added that “everyone should be working towards defeating Joe Biden and electing President Trump.”

I appreciate that he is negotiating to cover state employees skin cancer screening:
“The law, sponsored by Rep. Ralph Massullo, a dermatologist by trade, stipulates that the state group health insurance plan managed by the Division of State Group Insurance must cover skin cancer screenings conducted by dermatologists, physician assistants, or advanced registered practice nurses, without requiring deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or any other form of cost-sharing.”
He is a RINO. But RINOs can at times do some good. Just look at Ted Cruz for an example. But they’re still RINOs because ultimately they work for their big money donors and when the bill comes due, they will bend obediently to their wishes. We already saw examples of that during the primary.
Read past the headlines from Politico and NBC. The story was Republicans up and down the ballot and across the country. Then the donors also said he IGNORED Trump all night. When he starts saying the name and agressively campaigning (not just doing the bare miniumum) for Trump, this will show us something.

I don’t have to prove anything. I don’t think DeSantis is donating to Trump. He didn’t say he was. Everything he’s done for the past three years in the general election arena is anti Trump. He has no money other than his hate trump billionaire donors. DeSantis still has law school debt to pay

You’re mistaken. The test of a RINO is not what he does when doing the right thing is easy, but what he does when the tough decisions have to be made and your donors are pressuring you to act in their interests instead of the country’s. DeSantis has already failed that test numerous times.

He said he was going to fundraise for Trump so good on him if he does. What’s wrong with that. Trumps the nominee, end of story so all the candidates come together and get behind the nominee, or you would expect they would.
