Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told donors and supporters at a private retreat last weekend that he plans to help raise money for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, according to three sources familiar with the matter.
“He did say it in front of a group of people at the Hard Rock,” a DeSantis adviser told NBC News.
A Trump campaign adviser said they were not aware that DeSantis was going to start raising money from them but added that “everyone should be working towards defeating Joe Biden and electing President Trump.”

If desanctus had said this, he would have prominantly said he was fundraising for Trump when he was interviewed by Maria Bartimona on sunday morning futures....
If anything, desanctimonious would say
"I'm now fundraising for Mr Trump. And I guarentee that one onehundred percent of the funds raised will go to Trump"

I personally agree with the Trump campaign adviser that

Would he be a good atty. gen. in Trumps admin? The bad guys are the illegals and then Mayorkas. Something tells me the Biden people would be left alone. Gentleman’s agreement the left doesn’t live by.
Republican Party members seem to be coming together nicely after a spirited primary contest.
That is important because in both 2016 and 2020 the Republican national ticket just squeaked by in Florida.
We can not afford another weak national ticket under-performance in Florida in 2024.
My expectation is that Governor DeSantis and his supporters intend to work to ensure the national "R" ticket explodes across the finish line much like DeSantis did in 2022 with over 59 percent of the vote.
As is, troll-boy, you give yourself away as nothing more than a troll and an agent provocateur for the democrat party ... you also give yourself away as having some sort of mental defect.

The source is already trying to downplay it saying that DeSantis had offered to support “Republicans up and down the ballot” including “presidential candidates.” They can’t say the name Trump.
But Trump is going to hold DeSantis to it and saying he hears DeSantis is going to campaign “VERY HARD” for him and “raise A LOT of money” for him.
Time to put up or shut up, Ron.

DeSantis may have ulterior motives, but that’s okay. If helping Trump helps rehabilitate his image then that’s fine. Trump is a gracious winner and will likely accept his support. But that doesn’t change who DeSantis is. If he wants to get on the team and help out, that’s fine. But would I ever trust him to be president? Not a chance. Even RINOs can help out if they know their place. But putting them in charge is a big mistake.
As I pointed out in the opening comment-
If desanctimonious had actually, really meant he was going to actively do fundraising for Trump,
he would have been pushing it when he was on with Maria, and been able to get extensive national exposure with that revelation...
Instead, it’s half a week after the meeting, and it’s it’s not coming from the media attention seeking desantis, during a press conference...
So no, desanctus doesn’t really plan on doing any fundraising for Trump
