During an interview with Univision that took place last Wednesday and aired on Tuesday, President Joe Biden stated that he would consider taking further executive action on guns and criticized 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump because Trump “famously told the NRA that, don’t worry, no one’s going to touch your guns” if Trump won.
“[Trump] famously told the NRA that, don’t worry, no one’s going to touch your guns if I — from the very beginning, I used to teach the Second Amendment in law school, from the very beginning, there were limitations. … And — but it’s not enough. I think we have to do more, and I am absolutely committed. And I’ve asked the Congress, and if I get a Congress and get re-elected, we’re going to do it again. We’re going to make sure we eliminate these [semi-auto] weapons.”

Horse hockey. There was a fraternity at the University of Oklamhoma that owned their own cannon. It was parked in plain view on their front yard. There are pictures in the OU yearbook for 1965.

For over three years, Biden has been claiming he could dictate new gun control. We know he is Slow Joe, but if there was something he could do legally, wouldn’t he have done it by now? Presumably he might issue unconstitutional fiats while headed out the door, so time/money will be wasted having them thrown out.
This law school claim is just pathetic. The US is a laughingstock.
