I think you’re fine. I think you can visit the Mall, between Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol. See the Smithsonian which is there.
Smithsonian flight museum is out near Dulles, about 30 miles away. Worth seeing.
South of the Mall gets dodgy
I think you’re talking about the Udvar-Hazy complex. I do want to visit that, as well as the National Air & Space Museum.

It has a great observation deck where you can watch the big jets flying in to Dulles.
It’s free but parking is 15 bucks.
It’s a huge space.
The one on the Mall is smaller. I think that’s the one with Spirit of St. Louis.
All are worth going to.

Probably does it naked to see if he can find any new friends since Chase takes care of the kids.
Amazing that his security dtail gets to have (gasp) firearms in an area with harsh gun restrictions. Must be nice when some animals are more equal than others.
