I think you’re talking about the Udvar-Hazy complex. I do want to visit that, as well as the National Air & Space Museum.

It has a great observation deck where you can watch the big jets flying in to Dulles.
It’s free but parking is 15 bucks.
It’s a huge space.
The one on the Mall is smaller. I think that’s the one with Spirit of St. Louis.
