Last year saw “the highest number and rate of abortions measured in the United States in more than a decade,” according to a report from the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute.
In 2023 — the first full calendar year following the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade — there were an estimated 1,026,690 unborn babies killed in abortions in the formal U.S. health care system and a rate of 15.7 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age, the institute’s Monthly Abortion Provision Study found. That number is a ten percent increase in abortions from 2020.

I thought overturning roe v wade was the end of abortion, according to the left.
American women murder their children while the elites tell us we must have open borders so non-Europeans can repopulate the U.S. One sees a logical connection between the two.
Only one upshot of these horrible crimes. This is hard. The women of murderous ilk will leave less of a progeny and legacy.They will end up in nursing homes without family visitors if they are lucky.

I remember when everyone on the pro-life side celebrated the SCOTUS decision striking down Roe, and saying something to the effect that it is not a victory, only a chance at a victory. If years later the number of abortions had not declined meaningfully, it would show there was nothing to celebrate. Here we are. This will always be a battle that must be fought one heart at a time.

I would like to believe that the increase is occurring in the blue states but not the red states.
