Actually, IMHO, Hur did Trump a big favor with his decision.
“Robert Hur report and testimony is the biggest elephant in the room,” Kelly noted. “The term ‘arbitrary enforcement’ used frequently by both the defense and Judge Aileen Cannon.”

aka: two tiered justice system
aka: two systems of justice
aka: one for me and none for thee
Sounds like this judge is likely to make a sensible ruling.
Next, apply “selective prosecution” to the J6 archipelago slaves.
Dismiss the case! Give Trump a win, it’s all politics anyways.
The left hates God,but God helps Trump...It seems no matter what the haters do, he survives......Go ahead, explain why pence and Biden as “”vice presidents have classified material ,but Trump was wrong to do it as prez..........
excerpt from the piece for information & discussion purposes only:
*******************
“Cannon again asked for historical precedent as to when a former president or vice president faced charges for similar conduct. Bratt of course said there is none.”
“She added ‘vice president’ on numerous occasions for a reason–Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Mike Pence all skated on criminal charges,” Kelly went on. “Trump is the only one who has not.”
“Cannon: ‘Arbitrary enforcement… is featuring in this case’. Cannon also addressed the ‘foreseeability’ as to Trump’s awareness he was committing a crime by keeping classified/national defense information,” she added.
“Given the constellation of what happened before”–meaning no criminal prosecution of former presidents including Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan and vice presidents–Cannon suggested Trump could have reasonably expected he was in the clear,” she went on.
That is as clear a signal that the Trump classified documents case is in peril as could have arisen out of the day’s courtroom proceedings.
FR stealth Democrats and NeverTrumpers are saddened...
“Cannon hammered the fact no former president or vice president has been charged under Espionage Act for taking and keeping classified records including national defense information–which represents 32 counts against Trump in Jack Smith’s indictment,” she continued.
“Prediction: Cannon won’t dismiss the case based on the motions debated today–vagueness of Espionage Act and protection under the Presidential Records Act,” she added.
Arbitrary = Because we want to.
Let’s pray that this lawfare sham is buried as it rightfully should be, and that the precedent carries both forward & backward with the outstanding and completed trials.
The Hur report proves that the case against Trump has no merit along with the fact that it proves that Hur believes Joe Biden has dementia that’s why he didn’t prosecute him.
Countersue the government for attorney fees if the judge doesn’t award them.
I don't think Trump's docs and the way they were stored created any security risk.
Judge Cannon is proving to be the adult in the room going beyond the pretense of an alleged technical violation of the classification rules to pierce the veil to expose and confront the arbitrary nature of these political prosecutions.I hope she sets the judicial standard, in the case of prosecutions for both Dem and Republican Presidents that it is not enough to assert a technical violation, but the prosecution must first affirmatively establish that the prosecution is not arbitrary or “political” in nature before the case will be considered
An old law professor once said “If you can win the case, try the case. If you can’t win, try everything else.”
Sounds like this judge is tired of them trying everything else against Trump.
“Hur, and the left (plus their media mockingbirds), excusing Biden’s possession of classified documents may come back to bite them in the keister when it comes to the classified documents case against Trump.”
Ask yourself when, over the past several decades, has the left’s hypocrisy ended up hurting them or their agenda. They’re counting on the leftist media continuing to carry their propaganda water. Problem is... people are finding out via the internet now, what they’ve been lying about and hiding. No doubt the fascist goons are busily crafting legislation, as we speak, that will ‘take care of that pesky problem’, filed under freedom of access, freedom of speech and control of “misinformation”. Other “western” nations are already “”handling”” it. They’re excusing it as their noble attempts at “combatting disinformation”.

This country will never jail a former President. We’re not 3rd World officially-yet.
This seems to be a nice little weapon to use against the two tier justice system as a whole. Not just this case.
