The Republican National Committee sues Michigan over the state's voter rolls

The Republican National Committee sued Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, on Wednesday in an attempt to force election officials to trim down the state’s voter rolls.

The lawsuit, which was filed in federal court, argues that Michigan is violating the National Voter Registration Act’s requirement to maintain clean and accurate vote registration rolls.

The move comes just days after Trump allies effectively took over the RNC's leadership ahead of the 2024 election.

This action should have been taken years ago. Instead, the RNC used donations on expensive hotel rooms, limos, and flowers, in addition to expensive wardrobes.

I'm glad to see the new RNC leadership immediately step up to insist on secure elections. Michigan is one of the worst. And, the FBI is still sitting on the evidence of the 2020 fake ballot registration investigation.

Of course, this is NBC so they present it as the RNC trying to "suppress" voting.

In before the NT’s say it’s just Trump’s crony’s attempting to perpetuate the unproven claims of election fraud Trump uses to cover up for his failures as president, and dislike by republican voters that lead to his 2020 election loss.....

I can’t believe no one ever grilled Ronna McRomeny about what the RNC was doing to ensure there was going to be no fraud during the elections of 2018, 2020, 2022, or even 2024, which she would have been facing in a few months.

The RNC might be back. I’m glad the UNC is at least on hold for a while.

I wish republicans would make it mandatory for voter rolls to be deleted every two years. Yes, it might be a pain to reregister every two years, but it would keep them accurate. Even for republicans, it’s annoying knocking on doors only to find out the person moved or died.

When I went to vote in November of ‘23, I inquired about the voter registration of my daughter who had been deceased for 12 years. She was listed as an active voter although she hadn’t resided in the state for 18 years. She even ran for political office in another state. I received a communication for an absentee ballot for the 2020 election in her name which if I mailed in would have gotten an absentee ballot mailed to my house. I live in Michigan

It’s about time the RNC tries to justify its existence. They should have been all over this much earlier, shutting down every possible avenue of cheating by the Dims. It’s late in the game, but I hope they will keep some heat on the cheaters.

“No Labels Co-Chairman Pat McCrory Quits Group as It Presses Ahead With Presidential Ticket”

“WASHINGTON—Former North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory, a national co-chairman of No Labels, is resigning from the centrist political organization as it takes steps to launch a presidential ticket, according to people familiar with the plans.

McCrory, a Republican who began working with the organization in 2023, informed No Labels on Wednesday afternoon that he was resigning as a national co-chairman. The disclosure came as the organization is expected to announce plans Thursday to create a committee to select a presidential candidate in the coming weeks. The Washington Post earlier reported the group’s plan for a selection committee.

Reached for comment, McCrory confirmed that he had notified No Labels officials of his resignation “and I wish them the best. It was a great honor to serve. I am still rooting for the movement.””

FINALLY!
In my city/county we had 104% voter turnout of the population in 2008 when Obama was elected... not the registered voters, the POPULATION and the local GOP just waived it off.

Maria Bartiromo on FOXBusiness Mornings with Maria has asked several congressman recently what they are going to do about election fraud in the 2024 election. So far none of them have had a single thing to say. I guess their answer is… Nothing.

Good! Sue Wisconsin’s feckless ‘Election Board,’ too! Make this stick and make it HURT in every State where needed!

The GOP has done precisely nothing to strengthen voter ID laws in any state since the 2020 election. In addition, they let the left and their media mouthpieces set the narrative regarding the 2020 “most secure election ever”. In every article about the election there is the phrase, “false claims of voter fraud” or “despite no evidence of voter fraud”....yada yada yada”. How often do you see a GOP representative push back against that narrative, either in opeds or on Sunday talk shows. Never!

I bet very few GOP politicians are even aware of the Michigan fake voter registration investigation that has been simply swept under the rug. They too only read WaPo and NYTimes.
