Republican strategist Karl Rove said former President Trump’s campaign “ought to be concerned” about unifying the Republican party, pointing to robust support for Republican candidate Nikki Haley’s candidacy on Super Tuesday.
Rove called Super Tuesday a “strong night for Donald Trump” in an interview on Fox News, and described the former president’s campaign estimation that he would win a sufficient number of delegates to clinch the GOP nomination by later this month as “probably accurate.”
“Having said that, the high command of Team Trump ought to be concerned about unifying the Republican Party,” added Rove, a former top aide to former President George W. Bush.
His comments came just before Trump gave remarks Tuesday evening, the day before sources told The Hill that Haley would suspend her campaign following significant losses in the early primary contests.

If any of Rove’s candidates ever had the primary results that Trump has had thus far this election, Rove would be singing his own praises non-stop. Where is his da*mn clipboard showing the numbers that he used to be so proud of showing?

Rove is fighting to save Bush/Cheney Inc’s political relevance. He needs Trump to lose.
Haley’s votes came from Democrat supporters who would not vote for her this fall if she was on the ticket. The support for her among Republicans was thin and from actual conservatives it was non-existent.
Rove should follow the same advice MTG gave to the Brit reporterette in another video clip posted today.

Just the other way around Rove. It’s Biden that should panic after a recent poll confirms that 10% of his support from 2020 will vote for Trump.
It’s important to remember that Karl Rove is a sales person, and his entire reputation and legacy is that he’s the guy who sold us a recovering alcoholic frat-boy for President of the United States who largely ended up making things worse. That’s his resume.
More than that, Rove will be working behind the scenes in an effort to accomplish that outcome. Count on it. GOP, Inc., rather than the Dems, are the greater threat to Trump at this point.
