“ You lost another A-50 today! LOL!”
****************************************
I have no idea what an A-50 is. The only “investment” I have in Ukraine is from the tax money that the US government extracted from me and sent to Zelensky instead of spending it on OUR border enforcement and OUR veterans’ care.
First Odessa then on to Transnistria.
lol
🇷🇺Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber WAS SHOT DOWN while launching X-59 missiles in Kherson region.
What Su-34 doink?
Transnistria is only 29% Russian.
I think the last thing the Russian ranks would want to face is the American military, whether on the ground, in the air, or on the seas.
In the air, perhaps. Our pilots are given the funding to train daily. They're the best in the world.
At sea? Despite the presence of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in the Red Sea, Houthi pirates continue to disrupt shipping.
On the ground? We'd get chewed up.
Experience is everything and we have none. The last U.S. forces engaged in ground combat did so against an enemy who wore sandals and carried Kalashnikovs and the most intense of this fighting happened nearly two decades ago. The vast majority of U.S. combat veterans who partook in this fighting have retired or left the service by now.
Today, our military has been hollowed out by DEI and consist largely of people who joined only for the Tricare benefits. The warfighting mentality has fallen by the wayside, replaced by wokeism and adherence to social justice.
Russia, on the other hand, has spent two years honing their skills with actual combat experience against NATO weapons and tactics. And Russia has ramped up to a war-footing production capacity while we're running out of everything.
First ground contact against Russian forces will be a bloodbath for Americans. There will be a lot of flag-draped coffins coming home.
You are right. I’m surprised by all of the Soviet style flag, coat of arms, etc. that it’s that small. I can’t imagine that Ukrainians, and Moldovans are all that anxious to become part of Russia, but the people in charge seem to want it.
But I don’t see how any of this is our business.
I think your fantasy is one that the chewed-over and poorly trained, poorly equipped Russian ranks stuck in the bloodiest European war since WWII that they were never expected to have to fight originally since their nation’s elite forces of 2021 would have it done within weeks, and which destroyed the Russian Army of 2021 does not share, and that goes for the Russian Air and Russian Navy as well.
We can’t poll them, but those poor saps desperately holding their own against Ukraine would not want to know the American machine was coming at them and what that would mean to their already limited and inefficient battlefield capabilities.
The people in charge are the Russians with the guns, just like Donbas.
“Maybe Obozo told Putin to go on and take it.”
That has been made somewhat more difficult since Ukraine has shot down another of Russia’s $500,000,000 surveillance aircraft. (A-50).
