Varney: Black Farmer Unleashes on Biden for Prioritizing Illegals and Ukraine Over Americans “We’re Definitely Facing Extinction”

A fourth-generation farmer and president of the National Black Farmers Association, John Boyd, Jr., joined Stuart Varney on Fox Business’s “Varney & Co.” to discuss the devastating impact of Joe Biden’s policies on American farmers.

He criticized the administration for prioritizing others, including illegals and foreign governments, over Americans.

All farmers are suffering under Biden, but Boyd asserts Black farmers are ‘facing extinction.’

Boyd told Varney there are now only 40,000 black farmers in the United States, down from a million at its peak. And while American farmers are suffering, with land ownership drastically declining, Biden launched a $100 million initiative to provide Ukrainian farmers with necessary supplies during the ongoing war with Russia.

“We are definitely facing extinction and as it relates to American farmers, all farmers are hurting, and under this leadership, where we’re sending aid to Ukraine but we won’t stop farm foreclosures for America’s farmers,” Boyd said.

“We see it almost like 40 acres and a mule. … We didn’t get the debt relief, but then I see $100 billion going to Ukraine. And some of that money went to help Ukraine farmers with taxpayers money,” he said.

“I’m saying, ‘Why can’t we use some of them resources to help farmers right here at home in the United States?’”

Boyd continued, “And I look at the crisis at the border, it’s in complete chaos.“

“The border should be closed, and we’re letting people come into this country and we put them up in hotel rooms and give them expense cards but you won’t help America’s farmers. Something is terribly wrong with that picture.”

“We are American citizens and American farmers should come first. That’s what my message is to the president and if I had the opportunity to tell him, I would tell him … he needs to put America’s farmers first.”

The poor farmer. He really is needed. For the headcount for the DEMs. Nearly an automatic vote, or one cast for them by illegal software means.

I couldn't have said it any better.

My first thought was “forty acres and a mule” after the Civil War. A combination of socialism and reparations. Ahead of its time in wokism.

National Farmers Union version:
on January 16, 1865, General Sherman (not an abolitionist himself) issued his Special Field Order 15, which commanded that 400,000 acres of property confiscated from Confederate landowners be redistributed to Black families in 40 acre plots. By June, the land had been allocated to 40,000 of a total of 4 million freed slaves. (Mules were not included in the order, but the Union army did give some away as part of the effort.)

But the order was short-lived. President Andrew Johnson – who had owned slaves and publicly shared his beliefs of white supremacy – overturned the order before the end of the year and returned the land to the former slaveowners.

PBS website Henry Louis Gates article:
The promise was the first systematic attempt to provide a form of reparations to newly freed slaves, and it was astonishingly radical for its time, proto-socialist in its implications. In fact, such a policy would be radical in any country today: the federal government’s massive confiscation of private property — some 400,000 acres — formerly owned by Confederate land owners, and its methodical redistribution to former black slaves. What most of us haven’t heard is that the idea really was generated by black leaders themselves.

How much would 40 acres and a mule be worth today?
$6 trillion
The value of 40 acres and a mule today is a matter of debate, but some estimates put it at over $6 trillion. This is based on the assumption that the land would be worth the same as it was in 1865, adjusted for inflation. Aug 20, 2019

I’ve seen John Boyd on a non-political farming documentary.
The man is truly squared away and wise from decades of experience.

Respect.

He and his ilk need to be more “out there” boldly stumping for Trump, who is 100% pro-farmer, no matter the skin color. You kind of wonder what it will take for the worm to turn for PDJT when it comes to minorities. I know some are turning right, but definitely not enough, and not fast enough. They need to understand that they’re screwed if Trump isn’t in the White House.
