The week Biden lost the New York Times: Liberal paper's Editorial Board unleashes astonishing broadside warning of 'a dark moment' as it runs back-to-back opinion pieces knifing the elderly president after damning special counsel report

Joe Biden is incapable of assuring voters he can handle another presidential term, his team has 'no plan' on how to deal with his senile behavior, and he should simply 'not be running for re-election,' according to New York Times authors.

Anxieties from the liberal Times' Editorial Board and opinion writers show how worried they are that ailing Biden may not be able to beat 'bad man' Donald Trump this year.

The back-to-back opinion pieces knifing the elderly president, 81, over the weekend comes after a Justice Department report ripped into his handling of classified documents and portrayed him as a forgetful old man.

The 388-page report by Special Counsel Robert Hur confirmed he would not be charged - but it said that was because a jury would probably conclude he had 'diminished faculties' and was a 'well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.'

Biden's lack of enthusiasm on the campaign trail, coupled with his doddering public appearances and 'crotchety grandpa' attitude, are huge concerns during this 'dark time' in his presidential tenure, according to the left-leaning broadsheet paper.

'He needs to do more to show the public that he is fully capable of holding office until age 86,' the Times board stated on Sunday.

On February 9, the New York Times' Editorial Board published a damning, honest opinion piece, titled: 'The Challenges of an Aging President.'

The team at the newspaper concluded: 'This is a dark moment for Mr. Biden’s presidency.

They said that Biden's performance at his news conference on Thursday night was 'intended to assure the public that his memory is fine and argue that Mr. Hur was out of line' - but this is not what happened.

Instead, according to the opinion piece, 'the president raised more questions about his cognitive sharpness and temperament...

Not just the NYTimes, but others too.

Biden's dementia has evolved past what was once morbidly amusing to the right and sad to everyone else. He, as the President of the United States, has become a risk to national security. There is now a very real chance that he, in a dementia-riddled fugue, could say something on the public stage that sparks a serious international incident.

Whether you're a Democrat or a Republican, a supporter or not, he simply has to go.

Two White people pushing out Kamala and Michelle Obama.

I don’t think this will help black women to vote for them.

The Left used Biden as the prototypical useful idiot. Now he has become a clear liability and will be unceremoniously dumped. It will be more difficult to bypass Harris.

The scenario I like, which may be unlikely, but possible, is Joe Biden expiring of natural causes in May. That would give everyone a face full of Kamala Harris as President and allow for an "open" convention that could select someone other than Harris. Rejecting Harris would be difficult but retaining her would be fatal.

I think if Biden insists on running then the DNC will poison him in a couple of months. They will say he accidentally took to many of his pills.

I speak deep state stewardess, let me translate:

After years of preparation, New York Times received deep state go ahead to centralize blame for all government ills on allstar meat puppet Joe Biden ahead of replacement candidate announcement.

Biden’s not losing the NYT. They’re losing him. If they could tie his leash to the bumper and drive off, they would.

Biden has committed an on going crime since he took his oath of office in January of 2021.
He is a low-life person, a two bit grifter who deserves a long prison term!

Biden is nothing, a nobody, he just a place holder for people to project on that hate Trump; manipulated by big tech(google, facebook etc) and big media(CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS etc).

Now that the reality of Biden is apparent he cannot get reelected and people have adjusted their distorted view of Trump...for TDS people there is not hope for them.

EXPECT BIDEN TO BE REPLACED and for all of MEDIA and TECH to promote a consensus candidate to save the COUNTRY...BEWARE OF THIS PERSON, THAT IS ALL. TRUMP 2024 and beyond.

They are cogs in the machine.
The lever was pushed and they are doing the job they were directed to do.

Who will the Rats parachute in?
Michelle, Newsome?
Their bench seems thin.
Obviously Kamala has no place

Good post.
Those of us who were young during the 1968 Dem. National convention remember the verbal and physical fighting leading up to and then after the protests led Lyndon B. Johnson to surprisingly declare on TV one night that he would not seek his own party’s nomination for another term.

Big fighting among Eugene McCarthy, Eldridge Cleaver, Robert F. Kennedy and Humbert Humphrey factions and the “the whole world is watching” riots, black protests and riots and frequent bloodshed in cities plus the death of RFK and Martin Luther King.

What a time.
