Joe Biden is incapable of assuring voters he can handle another presidential term, his team has 'no plan' on how to deal with his senile behavior, and he should simply 'not be running for re-election,' according to New York Times authors.
Anxieties from the liberal Times' Editorial Board and opinion writers show how worried they are that ailing Biden may not be able to beat 'bad man' Donald Trump this year.
The back-to-back opinion pieces knifing the elderly president, 81, over the weekend comes after a Justice Department report ripped into his handling of classified documents and portrayed him as a forgetful old man.
The 388-page report by Special Counsel Robert Hur confirmed he would not be charged - but it said that was because a jury would probably conclude he had 'diminished faculties' and was a 'well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.'
Biden's lack of enthusiasm on the campaign trail, coupled with his doddering public appearances and 'crotchety grandpa' attitude, are huge concerns during this 'dark time' in his presidential tenure, according to the left-leaning broadsheet paper.
'He needs to do more to show the public that he is fully capable of holding office until age 86,' the Times board stated on Sunday.
On February 9, the New York Times' Editorial Board published a damning, honest opinion piece, titled: 'The Challenges of an Aging President.'
The team at the newspaper concluded: 'This is a dark moment for Mr. Biden’s presidency.
They said that Biden's performance at his news conference on Thursday night was 'intended to assure the public that his memory is fine and argue that Mr. Hur was out of line' - but this is not what happened.
Instead, according to the opinion piece, 'the president raised more questions about his cognitive sharpness and temperament...

They still love Joe but they have plans for someone far more radical and more electable than Joseph Stolen…I think Shapiro from PA will be their “knight in shining armor “.

Actually he would make a better choice for Ratland then Newsom. He hasn’t had enough time to turn Pennsylvania into California. He can still fake an aura of competence.
The democrats are in a tight spot. If they admit the obvious and remove Biden, they will admit that they knowingly ran a senile candidate in 2020. If they circle the wagons and defend Biden everyone will see that they are willing to run an obviously senile candidate in 2024. There was a flurry of handwringing pieces the next day, but now they are going into circle-the-wagons mode. If Biden insists on running, they will have no choice but to let him run, and Biden is now so far gone that he actually thinks he can pull off another victory because he really thinks he won on his own last time. The only thing that will remove Biden from the race is a complete public mental and/or physical collapse or the ultimate removal. It will be an interesting 9 months.
Joe hangs in there, (1) to keep prying eyes from seeing his criminal past and present, and (2) to ensure that any potential future indictment and/or prosecution either never gets rolling or dies in the crib.
The Rat Party’s convention is gonna be fun...and nauseating...to watch.

For me to be (relatively) honest, they said something similar about the dark moment for the American nation when the first of the preposterous impeachment proceedings began.
We shouldn’t give notice to the NY Times for turning against Biden. It’s just to get a younger and more glittering new candidate to whom to write love letters.
The NY Time is the last to know when anything is dark or light or even news. We discussed Biden’s reasons for having the basement campaign for President against Trump years ago.
I meant the impeachment against President Trump, of course.

Did anybody in the New York Times editorial review recognize that the report basically stated that the sitting POTUS and his family actions are Espionage?
Liberals and Never Trumpers expressed that Trump was guilty of espionage in the Media and sold secrets, naming unnamed sources. Now, we have a named source and an investigation , that demonstrates a citizen and VPOTUS committed espionage and they refuse to discuss the obvious.
Biden should be impeached for espionage, and anybody associated with him, like the current VPOTUS. The Speaker of the House should be sworn in. That’s what should happen, but instead we have a discussion of how senile Biden really is. Ludicrous spin, deflecting the obvious.

They have a huge problem because Joe has done a very effective job, just as his spiritual mentor, Joe Stalin, would have done in tying up primaries to a point where the only person on the ballot is Joe himself. That guarantees Joe a nearly unanimous place of “elected” delegates who are pledged to vote for him on the first ballot. If he wins the first ballot, he wins. That means right now there are really only three people who can get him off the ballot: himself, his wife, and his sister. All three of those are ruthlessly determined to keep him on the ballot.
Indeed, we’ve already seen the power of his neo-Stalinism and Bobby Kennedy Junior’s decision to drop out of the Democratic primaries, quite possibly induced, at least partly, by Joe’s refusal to provide Bobby (even A KENNEDY!!) with Secret Service protection. Just imagine President Trump refusing SS protection to A KENNDY.
