Since 2006, the U.S. has given more than $3 billion tax dollars in humanitarian aid and $253 million tax dollars in developmental aid since 2011.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) allocated $411 million tax dollars in December 2022 to respond to the drought and prevent famine in Somalia. (Feb 28, 2023)
Somalia is a failed state.
What does it need with more territory?
What interest does a failed state have other than to become a functioning state.
Let’s fill more states up with Somalis. No need to worry it will affect our foreign policy, etc.

Omar speaks as if she is both a Somali-not an American- and says that the Somalis in America tell the government what to do and are obeyed.
What is this blather? It makes no sense at all. I’m not even sure if this rhetoric is red meat for her constituents.
I’m beginning to think we desperately need an Article V convention. We need to put into place a definition of ‘natural born citizen’ & require that ANY ELECTED OFFICIAL, AT WHAT EVER LEVEL, MUST BE NATURAL BORN. This woman doesn’t represent ANY American. Period.
Since she swore to uphold the constitution of the USA she must be stripped of office and deported to the country where she feels at home.
It needs more territory to exploit its resources and then become a failed state again.
Doesn’t make sense. All the Somalians would want to come to the U.S.
There ought to be an ‘NBC’ clause requirement for congresscritters...

Maybe Omar wants more coastline for Somalia so that it can expand its pirating industry.

The entire speech is objectively insane. I've never heard anything like it from a U.S. politician. She isn't even hiding the fact that she has no loyalty to the United States at all. Instead, as a refugee now serving in Congress, she sees her role and the power she holds as centering on Somalia, a failed, third-world Muslim nation that promotes piracy and terrorism.
If that's not worthy of expulsion from Congress, what is?
