The Biden administration waited until Friday to announce that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had been hospitalized on Monday, a delay of several days that alarmed the Pentagon press corps.
Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder provided a brief update on Austin in a statement that was released by the Department of Defense (DoD) at around 5 p.m., or the close of business, right as the weekend was getting underway for many in the country.
“On the evening of January 1, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for complications following a recent elective medical procedure,” Ryder said.

The thought that comes to mind is that the hospitalization is covid vax related. How could Austin admit by his hospitalization that the vax he mandated on all his troops was the reason for his hospitalization? It would qualify as true Karma.

You assume duties as SECDEF and don’t even come home from vacation!?! And how could she be SECDEF if the White House didn’t even know about it? For 4 days she should have reported directly to the President, but he didn’t know?
The Secretary of State went on a trip to the violent Middle East on Thursday while the Secretary of Defense was in the hospital and nobody knew about it!

Why am I concerned that there is a lot more to this story and we are now being fed a line of b.s. in regards to the entire incident. It apparently took them four days to come up with the minor surgery and hospitalization story. Why? There is nothing abnormal about such a thing. By hiding that info, they have now created a Streisand effect and people are going to be taking a deep dive into his activities over the recent weeks. There has to be something really “interesting” going on.
No, they discovered that he had a miniscule section of backbone and removed it to ensure he is totally spineless. And probably implanted a Chinese Army control chip to make sure he does what Xi wants.
At least we can count on Jennifer Griffin to get to the bottom of it. You know the Fox Pentagon correspondent who’s job includes debunking Tucker Carlson.
I think you are spot on. Something is/was happening beyond what we are being told. Now some people at the Pentagon are saying (anonymously) that they were told SECDEF was "working from home". There was a considerable cover-up that indicates something very serious (or highly embarrassing) was going on. Now there are a lot of questions being asked.
I'm sure there are very specific Continuity of Operations plans and procedures for even temporary loss of a SECDEF, and people will be asking questions about how they were followed, or ignored.
