The kangaroo court modus operandi first tested on Alex Jones is for the judge to prohibit the defendant from pleading innocent or presenting evidence of innocence, after which the judge defaults the defendant to a guilty verdict.
Jones was the proof of concept. The technique was used on Rudy Giuliani as well, and now President Trump.

Nancy Pelosi’s nepo-baby, Alexandra, was caught on camera admitting essentially that January 6 and the ensuing prosecutions were a marketing gimmick to propagandize the public for the benefit of the Democrat Party.
The video, apparently filmed surreptitiously in the style of Project Veritas and released by CitizenLens, reportedly between Pelosi and a January 6 defendant she was courting so as to appear in her documentary of the event, featured Pelosi discussing the political implications of the Jan 6 show trials and their effects on the upcoming 2022 mid-term elections.
After the Democrats lose the House and then they get rid of the committee, people may lose interest. The first trials are gonna get a lot of attention. It’s like [an] anniversary; the first one is a big deal… No one’s gonna care after the Democrats are out of power. And then take Biden out of office, then who cares?...

My understanding is that Presidential authority to do this flows from the Insurrection Act of 1807to first , which requires the President make a verbal/written request to disperse.
Pres. Trump did make such a request via a video posted on twitter right after his speech, but the deep state censors took the video down after 5 minutes saying it incited violence.
It remains unclear whether a video only visible for 5 minutes on social media is sufficient to invoke the Act, but clearly it would have had it not been removed.

You do know Congress - and the Republicans were outspoken critics of Trump’s commentary and response to Antifa and BLM Riots.
Republicans said it was their constitutional right to Riot.

Trump & the bad guys made this claim about the 10,000 troops, but the good guys say Trump & his conspirators are lying, ..& hearsay is admissible against conspiratorial bad guys. Smith refuses to allow a lie be admissible as evidence when the good guys say it’s not true.
question: if Congress has sweeping subpoena power & there is no real right to orivacy anymore, and subpoenas issued by political actors are fine in place of search warrants based on probable cause......and if Jack Smith can subpoena Trump’s records and when Trump & his lawyers fight the subpoena ,Smith can use that to get a general warrant, raid Trump’s home, then charge them all with crimes of obstruction and espionage........why doesn’t the judicial branch have the same sort of sweeping subpoena powers that the other two branches have, so we can check Garland and Smith???? Imagine Bush 1 putting Robert BORK as attorney general and setting him loose on Ted Kennedy and liberal groups that made up lies about the Willie Horton case , etc?
