This means the Japanese forgot to make their campaign contributions to Fetterman.

Well, we’re living here in Allentown
And they’re closing all the factories down
Out in Bethlehem, they’re killing time
Filling out forms, standing in line

Not used to seeing Fetterman with an actual brain that is functioning.

I’d guess this is the fetterman body double...

And I won’t believe otherwise until we see a fingerprint match.

I was struggling to find a word to describe Fetterman as he is today. I think “populist” might be it. And his stances are evidently genuine. Here he is at a pro-Israel rally, draped in an Israeli flag. Folks who are just playing games wouldn’t do that.

However, Fetterman probably still has all his socialist ideals. Time will tell if he moves more to the left or more to the right. Given how “different” Fetterman is, I wouldn’t bet much either way.

“John Fetterman would make a better Senator than Dr. Oz” was not on my Bingo Card.

Fettermunster taking a page out of the ol’ Kyrsten Sinema playbook. Dude may be more populist than I thought, but certainly no conservative.

You could be onto something...maybe the stroke killed the progressive side of his brain.

I 100% support forbidding sale of US Steel to a foreign company.

Senator Lurch is more MAGA than most of the Rs masquerading as Republicans. He’ll be reelected easily.

An argument can be made he's more MAGA than Dr. Oz ever would've been.

I truly believe had he been elected, Oz would've immediately denounced Trump and joined the Romney/Collins/Murkowski wing of the GOP Senate.

Take a peek at post #26. Can you imagine Mehmet Oz doing the same thing? Draped in the Palestinian flag, maybe. The Israeli flag, not one chance in a million.

......I think his atture predilections in going to work in the Senate “probably” reflect his degree of respect for the institution.

That said, I wish the Senate deserved the respect that people like Grassley think it does.

In a conversation this morning, I remarked that I THINK that the number of CLEAN Senators and Representatives (out of 535), as determined by a hard, aggressive, no holes barred investigation, could probably all be put inside one school bus. That’s how much respect I have for them.

Fetterman is exactly what you’d expect from a semi-retarded statewide politician in Pennsylvania. For all his flaws, he can count votes in his state and he knows there isn’t much of an appetite to have a Japanese company buy out one of the oldest heavy industrial players in PA.

U.S. Steel is a mere shadow of its former self, but it is still one of about two dozen Fortune 500 companies with its corporate headquarters in Pennsylvania.

Switch parties?

The rats are not very honorable. Fetterman does seem to have some of it in his DNA.
