The New York Times doctored what Hunter Biden said, leaving out one very important key word…

The New York Times is at it again with its dissemination of fake news. This isn’t just another accidentally incorrect story, like so many before, or their “Pulitzer prize-winning” fake Russia hoax stories; this time, they’re actively altering quotes, presumably to shield Joe Biden. This latest fake news scandal comes on the heels of a recent Gallup poll that highlighted a historic low in American trust in the fake news legacy media.

Axios:

American’s trust in media has fallen to a historic low, according to new polling from Gallup.

Why it matters: Trust in media had previously dropped to 32% in 2016 before rebounding slightly. Those gains have essentially been wiped out, according to the poll.

Details: Only 32% of the population reports having “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of confidence that the media reports the news in a full, fair and accurate way.

The only other time in recent history that trust has fallen to 32% was in 2016.

📉 In some cases, the sentiment is worse today.

A record-high number of Americans (39%), say they don’t trust the media at all. That number has steadily increased since 2018.

...

The most frustrating part of all this is how the left, along with their cohorts in the media, are eagerly establishing these phony “disinformation watch groups” like Media Matters and NewsGuard. They use these platforms to eagerly point fingers at others, while they themselves degrade journalism with falsehoods, manipulated edits, and blatant lies. It’s almost too easy for them to spread fake news while masquerading as the last bastion of truth. It’s a perfect disguise, isn’t it? It’s like an arsonist leading a “fire safety” seminar.

So, what’s the latest from the New York Times? They’ve altered a quote from Hunter Biden, removing a rather intriguing word: financial—and yes, it could make a very big difference in a lot of people’s minds.

...

This is so bad. @nytimes doctored what Hunter said today, leaving out the key word. Wow.

NYT: “Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not involved in my business.”

Hunter: “Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not *financially* involved in my business.”

Correction

Hunter: “Let me state as clearly as I can:

Yawn.......The usual Biden whine is getting to be a bore:
“MAGA Repubs ridiculed my struggle with addiction.”
”MAGAs belittled my addiction recovery and have tried to dehumanize me”

And this written by Joe Biden to get his two cents in:
”MAGAs want to embarrass and damage my saintly father.
”My honorable dad is a dedicated 50-year public servant.

REALITY CHeCK
Joe Biden’s been trying like hell to resurrect whoring crackhead Hunter into
some semblance of a human being, now that Hunter is being subjected to the law.

Egged on by his dad, Hunter’s trying to weasel out of the charges, saying he was a “victim,”
and “out of it,” a full blown druggie, abusing crack cocaine, and other substances, at the time.

What a crock.

During periods where Hunter claims to have been “out of it,” a “hopeless junkie,”
<><>he was a key player in a global influence-peddling scheme,
<><>he had a full-fledged tax-paid Secret Service detail
<><>he was jetting globally, getting free rides on dad’s Air Force Two
<><>he was selling out the US, left and right
<><>he was undermining American families’ safety and security,
<><>he was setting up a sophisticated money laundering operation
<><>he was coordinating a complex labyrinth of LLC accounts
<><>AND netting millions of dollars for himself, dad, and the Biden Crime Family.

Plus, you want evidence? The paltry millions laundered through some 25 LLC accounts
for which there is no known businesses, is the income upon which tax was not paid.

This laundered pile of money is insignificant compared to the illegal
funds the Bidens have stashed in offshore numbered accounts.

Hunter, himself, is the author of his self-inflicted troubles.......”forget MAGA, Hunter.”

When Hunter decided not to pay his taxes and when he sniffed a nostril full
of cocaine, Hunter began his personal journey to where he finds himself today.

Nobody but himself ignored his tax liabilities.

Nobody stuffed cocaine up his nose.......he did it to himself.

It’s one of those life lessons Hunter learned from watching his 81 year old father
pretend he got elected.....always blame somebody else and you’ll come out a winner.

It is so easy to blame your problems on others.

This is another verbose puzzle-article. Try to find what the Times’ alteration to the quote is. I found it:

Hunter said, “My father was not financially involved in my business.”

The Times removed the “financially” in their quote.

The article only says the removal is “intriguing” without explaining why.

Another example of the Clinton’s legacy. Having to parse every sentence so that they can claim it was truthful

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/13/us/politics/hunter-biden-impeachment-testimony.html

“I am here,” Mr. Biden said. “Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not financially involved in my business — not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Burisma, not my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad and certainly not as an artist.”

...

A correction was made on Dec. 13, 2023: An earlier version of this article misquoted Hunter Biden. He said, “My father was not financially involved in my business,” not, “My father was not involved in my business.”

NYT: “Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not involved in my business.”

Hunter: “Let me state as clearly as I can: My father was not *financially* involved in my business.”

The word financial puts a word picture, an image, in your mind, it communicates.

Hunter Biden at presser:
“Repubs displayed naked photos of me during an oversight hearing.”

“They have taken the light of my dad’s love for me
and presented it as darkness. They have no shame.”

Rotflol......who knew the whoring cokehead was that sensitive?

Memo to Hunter: If you dont want naked pics of yourself displayed,
<><>dont pose naked in front of a camera
<><>dont download them onto your laptop
<><>and dont abandon your laptop in a repair shop.

Definitely stupid, but showing them publicly at a congressional hearing was crass and served no purpose.

Democrat excuse on line now “Well, it is okay that somebody else paid Hunter Biden’s taxes. It (the money owed in back taxes) was a gift and you can no limit of money eceived as a gift and do not have to pay any money on it at all.”

Yes. It puts the lengths to which Joe collaborated with Hunter in securing unwarranted funds from anywhere in perspective. Joe used INFLUENCE to secure payments to Hunter. Joe didn’t immediately and directly receive payments out of those funds - that came later in the 10% and 50% Hunter whined about in his emails. When you start qualifying statements, you admit there’s something there not yet discovered IMO.

Why was it a gift and I'm sure that gifter lawyer paid gift taxes on it. When gifts are in the millions, there needs to be a little scrutiny and perhaps some legislative changes.

Is Hunter still trying to enforce 1984 style doublethink by both denying that is his laptop with pictures of him with crack, whores and M&Ms and claiming that the Republicans have stolen and misused his laptop?

Looking at it, the whole Biden administration is 1984: the Reality Show with doublethink, history rewrites, endless wars against Eurasia with Eastasia in the wings, imprisonment for illegal thoughts and speech and a general 2+2=5 world.

This was depicted as a “loan” I believe. A loan does not have to be reported b/c the usual procedure is that it gets paid back.

But....the lender has to pay taxes on the payback and the interest.
