WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House is hosting nearly 100 lawmakers from around the country on Wednesday to work on how their states can try to reduce gun violence.
The gun violence prevention office, the first of its kind, was launched this year by President Joe Biden. It has formulated a set of guidelines to help states take action across six areas, including creating state-run offices like the federal office, strengthening support for survivors and families of victims, and reinforcing responsible gun ownership.
“We’ve been meeting with the state legislators ever since the start of our office, and one thing we hear all the time is they want to do more to reduce gun violence,” said Stefanie Feldman, director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention. “The question is, what should they do and how?”
Lawmakers from 39 states are attending Wednesday’s gathering, including legislators from Nevada, where a gunman last week killed three faculty members and wounded a fourth in a roughly 10-minute rampage at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. That shooter had a list of targets at the university and more than 150 rounds of ammunition, police said.
Vice President Kamala Harris is overseeing the office and will speak to the lawmakers on Wednesday.

How about un-electing Soros DA’s who refuse to prosecute gun related crimes or let the perps off with a light sentence?

Something about using ‘brainstorming’ and ‘white house’ in the same sentence seems odd.

None will suggest locking up gun law violators.
Well, since places like Vermont and Maine and New Hampshire and the Dakotas and Montana and many parts of Texas or Tennessee and elsewhere where the law abiding are armed, there is very little or no violence. Maybe that should be a starting point.
How about actually putting criminals who commit a crime with an illegal gun IN PRISON?
DAs need to be held accountable for crimes committed by those they let off. SEND DAs TO PRISON to serve the same sentence as the actual criminal. All the way up to and including Death Penalty!!
Here is novel idea, enforce the laws already on the books and put criminal in jail.

Oh, great. Another federal bureaucracy that will exist only to issue regulations and expand in power and size.
Here are two ideas that I will pass along to them for free:
1. Do not hamper a citizen’s right to defend himself.
2. Vigorously enforce sensible laws that are already on the books.
See? I was able to come up with that without need for staff, office space, or any meetings.
Distraction.
Let’s hope this does not reflect badly on Israel.

As required by US law, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale to Israel on May 18, 2015: Joint Direct Attack Munition Tail Kits, munitions, and associated equipment, parts and logistical support for an estimated cost of $1.879 billion.
The Government of Israel has requested:

<><>consisting of 10,000 for Mk-84;
<><>500 for Mk-83;
<><>and,4,000 for Mk-82;
<><>3,500 Mk-82 bombs; 4,500 Mk-83 bombs;

<><>4,100 GBU-39 Small Diameter bombs;
<><>1,500 Mk-83 Paveway kits;
<><>700 BLU-109 Paveway kits;
<><>3,000 AGM-114K/R Hellfire Missiles,
<><>250 AIM-120C Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles;

The proposed sale of this equipment will provide Israel

Israel already has these munitions in its inventory, and will have no difficulty absorbing the additional munitions into its armed forces.
