Hunter Biden faces 42 years in federal prison for nine tax and three gun charges filed by special counsel David Weiss.
Per Weiss’ indictments:
Weiss charged Hunter Biden on Thursday, asserting he was “engaged in a four-year scheme” to not pay at least $1.4 million in taxes “he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019 and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns.”
“If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 17 years in prison,” the Department of Justice wrote regarding the tax indictment. “Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.”

The charges are very serious, rock solid and will damage the corrupt Biden Presidency and the people in his circle. Yes, Joe can pardon Hunter, but it will destroy his chances for reelection and will highlight for history the unprecendented level of corruption from the Biden Crime Family Syndicate.
That's better than jailtime for some sleazy crackhead. This is good news.
Apparently the regime is putting pressure on Biden to drop out . I figure he will pardon his son then drop out for ‘health’ reasons. It all depends on what Chairman Xi wants.
I believe the DOI ... I mean the DOJ will hurry up the case, let him plead guilty to all charges and then daddy will pardon him and then resign. After that he could not be charged for the same crimes again.
Pay attention to when they say “Up to”. That doesn’t mean he’s gonna get 42 years.
Joe will pardon him. He was just working for the advancement of communism.
He will never serve a day; will be pardoned if necessary.

Here’s the plan. Got to take Hunter to court and have the charges processed. He’ll get convicted of something and he’ll get jail time. But there will be some kind of appeal or some hold up for him going to jail. During that time period Uncle Joe will pardon him so he doesn’t go to jail.
The crime family knows that President Trump is going to replace Uncle Joe. If Hunter hasn’t been tried and convicted before President Trump gets in office then Hunter has a problem. He would go to jail. The new administration can’t charge Hunter again because of double jeopardy. So it has to be done before.
They keep on saying up to 17 yrs in prison when did it become 42? Also, please, its Hunter Biden and the judge is in Commiefornia, he wont serve 1 second in jail
This would not be happening without the approval of the true rulers of the country. Joe’s connections to Hunter will be allowed become apparent and Joe will now out of the race.I wonder who the RATs have decided will take Joe’s place? Big Mike? Gruesome? Hitlery?
Since I’m a math geek — Hunter is accused of failing to pay 1.4 million in taxes over four years. The top marginal tax rate at that time was 37%. To owe 1.4 million in taxes, therefore, his income over those four years must have been at least 3.78 million, and likely more since the indictment doesn’t say he paid zero tax over that time. This means Hunter averaged at least almost a million a year in income (945,945 to be exact).
Question: exactly what value could a crack-addicted whoremonger bring to any business that would be worth paying him that amount of income? Yes, for us it’s obviously rhetorical, but I would reall love to hear lefties try to answer that one.
