A famous neoconservative says Donald Trump will become a dictator like Julius Caesar if he wins the 2024 election.
In the lengthy Washington Post piece, Robert Kagan lays out his argument that Trump is well on his way to becoming the GOP nominee for president and stands a good chance of defeating Joe Biden in November.
He says Trump's second term would see him become the most powerful president in US history, after defeating two impeachments and coming through four indictments, which have only served to turbocharge GOP support.

Robert Kagan is NOT a “top conservative”. He is described online as a “liberal internationalist” and was a prominent fanboy for the Iraq and Ukraine wars.

Trump is a constitutionalist who loves this country, cares about his progeny. From the word “go” like his family, his father before him and his grandfather too. My family knew his family in NY. In Queens.

I can't think of a single Democrat-shopped court that blocked President Trump where he ignored the ruling. He always found another way to move forward. That's why it took until his fourth year to get the southern border wall started.
And yet, the still pursue the notion that he's going to be a dictator, when it's Biden who forced edicts and mandates on the people.

A pity. Kagans’ “Pelopponesian War” is very, very good.
In retrospect, I have probably been unfair to Pinochet in the past. If only Trump was willing to have Kagan tried from a helicopter over the sea. But alas, Trump is a kind decent sensitive soul.
