Wow, I just committed an unpardonable FR sin. I used the incorrect nomenclature on a rifle part.
Forgive me FReepers, I was wrong.
Please substitute the word Magazine for Stock.
I promise, I’ll never do it again.
The bill currently excludes semi-auto handguns and shotguns, but we all know that would change in the future.
The Senator has provided a flowchart at the above link to show what is and isn't regulated. The only gas operated handguns I can think of are the Desert Eagle and any pistol version of a semi-auto rifle (AR, AK, etc.) I can also think of a few gas-delayed blowback designs (HK P7 for example) but I don't know if they would be included in the "gas operated" group. It is also unclear where a pure blowback rifle or pistol (High Point PCCs and handguns) would fall.
Come and Take It! Agnes.
A friend’s late father was a Korean War vet and a certified gun nut. He had a good collection and told me that his all time favorite was his M! in Korea. He said that if you could see the target, you could kill it.
My son purchased a M1 Garand a couple years ago. It’s an amazing rifle.
I knew that was coming.
I only use high capacity magazines in my clips on my super killer assault shotguns.
Of all the stupid ideas of gun controllers is their obsession with magazine capacity. This is an offshoot of the idea that he founders meant that the 2A only allows muskets. Not to mention criminals and terrorists would ignore limitations.
That includes every large city's police department, as well as state police departments.
That also includes the Marine Corps, which will require a new rifle, for use only on US territory, without a detachable magazine. Perhaps resurrect the M1 Garand, but in 7.62 NATO?
After all, if these are weapons of war, good only for killing people, and don't belong in our country, then they don't belong in the government's arsenal, except for use on foreign territory.
Then, and ONLY then, can you take ours away.
The h*ll it isn't!
Does he mean "prohibited," rather than regulated?
Everytime that I hear Angus King’s name, I think about a Burger King Whopper.
Nice.
My latest is far more basic. I’m a volunteer leader with Trail Life USA, a a Christian boys outdoor adventure group.
We just came out with a Henry .22 lever action with the Trail Lifenlogo on the stock.
I played a small part in making the arrangements with Henry. I wasn’t planning to buy one since I already have a half dozen other .22’s. My wife made me buy it.
Yea, you heard that right. My wife made me buy a gun.
Well, yes, but "regulated" doesn't sound as harsh.
Perhaps his legislation should include a clause stating that people can not assemble in groups larger than ten.
Thank the Lord that America has Sanctuary gun states where illegal “asshalt rifles” can come to and hide when the Democrats start hunting them down.
That’s sorta the idea, angus. What a cow that guy is.
Senator Angus King, the filthy Tory, needs to be deported to England, same as all politicians who attack our inalienable right to keep and bear arms.
Umm. Yeah, that’s the point.
