Giving publicity to these Killers through their rantings (written as a âmanifestoâ or otherwise) is unfortunately inspiring to other week minded and delusional. However an account of their claimed motivations seems to always be slanted by those retaining it.
Is a cooling off period beneficial? Perhaps that is the best and that is where we are now. Leaks leave accuracy in doubt.

I don’t think it is the manifestos that inspire copycats- I doubt they care about someone else’s motives. It is the fame from news media reporting the numbers killed like some kind of game score, and very likely the idea of inflicting enough pain to make many people grieve is the main attractant because murder-suicide by cop is fundamentally a vindictive, selfish act. It’s “all about me.”
