It’s business as usual for Senator Robert Menendez, who boasted to a talk-show host that he is still attending top secret briefings — despite being charged with working as a foreign agent for Egypt.
The embattled New Jersey Democrat who was indicted on federal corruption charges in September told New Jersey PBS’s Chatbox with David Cruz show “I still have all my intelligence credentials” and that he still attends regular briefings of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“I was not barred from going into an intelligence briefing,” he said when Cruz asked if he had been sidelined after his most recent indictment last month. “I still have all my intelligence credentials.”

IMO, he’s no worse that Joe Biden. The only difference is that Biden is protected by DOJ and FBI lies that the MSM willingly takes as the truth. In the scope of things, Biden is probably - likely - FAR WORSE.
Given how corrupt Washington is, I wouldn’t rely on “charged” as an important factor is removing a power. Look what Schiff did to Nunez. Charges had Nunez removed and no proof was needed. That can be a dangerous slope. The deep state would levy charges against anyone in their way.
The problem is, none of the real bad guys ever get convicted. It really doesn’t matter what they did. There is always selective enforcement, right out of Atlas Shrugged.
Zero accountability in DC.

Egypt’s Al-Sisi is Coptic Christian, and overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi. So there is that, not in the Saudi sphere and certainly not Iran’s.
Those who can’t help but boast that they know the government’s secrets are exactly the sort who should never be let in on those secrets.
Menendez also inspired the beleagured Hunter Biden.
At first the whoring Hunter tried to say all the foreign
money he got was “a gift.” But that bombed bigtime.
Now speculation centers on the cokehead getting paid b/c
he was actually a “secret agent,” supplying info to intel agencies.
That gets immediate plausibility b/c Daddy is suitably positioned to back it up......
and Menendez did manage to survive his foreign allegations nicely.
