Tyson Foods, one of the biggest meat producers, is investing in insect protein

Tyson, a major US producer of beef, pork and chicken, is betting on protein that comes from insects.

The meat processor said on Tuesday that it has invested in Protix, a Netherlands-based insect ingredients maker. Tyson is not only taking a minority stake in the company, but is working alongside it to build a US factory. That facility will use animal waste to feed black soldier flies, which will then be turned into food for pets, poultry and fish. Tyson did not disclose the financial specifics of the deal.

Those flies are not going into human food, at this point. “Today, we’re focused on more of [an] ingredient application with insect protein than we are a consumer application,” said John R. Tyson, chief financial officer of Tyson Food

The scary thing is we probably won’t know what we are eating in certain cases.

The insects will be blended into the regular food products at increasing amounts over time.

Also, watch for a new euphemism for “insect protein” in food labeling.

Eat Bugs?

Forget that crap. There are enough yellow hammer grasshoppers here to feed the hawks and other critters. And to use for fish bait.

But I am not going to buy bugs to eat. Disgusting thought.

The WEF can eat their bugs and other crap if they want.

We refuse. And they cannot make us.

The WEF and their globalist friends hate Texas, because we produce oil, cattle, and agricultural products. They want to tax the world for CO2 and Carbon polution, a total lie to make producers pay the world's debt.

WEF (and their Nazi #Com-padres) can pound sand.

You can bet that McDonalds will be right there leading the way when the FDA approves Soldier Fly protein to human food.

Serious boycott of Tyson Foods should happen now. Just for even considering using insect protein.

Black Soldier Flies:

https://texasinsects.tamu.edu/soldier-fly/

Do you know what maggots smell like?

Did you ever put out a big stinky fly trap. I used one this spring/summer. Put it in the back of my yard. It really trapped flies, when the bag was full, I put it in a strong plastic bag and put it in the trash can just before pickup by the trash truck. (next time I will take a shovel and bury it directly)

Most sickening smell imaginable.

I would not feed maggots or flies to any of my pets.

make it a federal requirement that any products sold with insect proteins MUST have a bright green stick with a bug on it.

Any restaurants using insect proteins should also display a bright green bug next to each item.

Insect-based food processed for human consumption will be shoved down our throats at some point in the future. That is the path we are on.

Yep, Chicken Nuggets. Didn’t they already get in trouble for sawdust or something?
