Remember when insects in food was a health code violation? Soon it will be a requirement.

[Those flies are not going into human food, at this point.]

Exactly. Good catch.

Bugs - it's what the WEF (World Economic Forum) says every one else can eat for dinner - while THEY, the Globalist Elites, dine on lobster, steak, etc.

In the movie Quigley Down Under, Quigley and his female sidekick ate taken in by aborigines. Having done them a great service, Quigley is well taken care of.

At one point, he was offered two very large grubs. She ate hers right down. Quigley had a problem

So, the message is that some insect larvae are consumable in societies where their is no home grown protein.

So, far, I have consumed no insect larvae that I know of

Black soldier fly larvae voraciously EAT the maggots of horseflies, etc., as well as any plant or animal waste, reducing pathogens. If you have them around, they keep an aviary or even a farm really clean. They do not resemble houseful maggots- soldier fly larvae look more like caterpillars.
They do not smell, in fact prevent odors by rapidly consuming any waste or housefly and blowfly or other larvae in waste. They also eat spoiled feed. When they have eaten up all the nasty stuff, they are easy to shovel into tubs and rinse to use for other things or to dispose of by feeding to wildlife. They dry easily, smell good, and are excellent poultry, wild bird food, fish food and an readily available non-slimy bait for fishing.
My chickens would go crazy for them whenever I cleaned out the litter in my parrot aviaries.

But, since they are not a rib eye steak, don’t have the aroma of a and wouldn’t even pass as a french fry or asparagus spear, you will never catch me eating them.

"Serious boycott of Tyson Foods should happen now. Just for even considering using insect protein."

Exactly. They just went on my list. Go to full-blown war with these NWO globalists using your wallet as a weapon.

Thanks for info.

Not sure exactly what is put in a Big Stinky fly catcher, but the bag is full of maggots when it gets full of flies.

The odor is overwhelming.

Who in the heck thought this asinine agenda up? How did we go from mankind enjoying themselves, eating what they want, to “you will give up you fossil fuel run items like cars, gas stoves, furnaces, etc etc etc, and you will eat bugs and enjoy it!”? And “Your nation will go from a technologically advanced nation to a third world craphole and like it”?

The FDA already allows a permissible number of insect fragments or rodent hairs per specified weight for many different food products.

For example, the FDA allows up to 225 insect fragments per 225 grams of macaroni and noodle products, up to 30 insect fragments in 100 grams of peanut butter, up to 50 thrip insects in 100 grams of sauerkraut, up to 30 fly eggs per 100 grams of tomato paste or pizza sauce, and up to 75 insect fragments per 50 grams of wheat flour.

Bon appétit!

Why don’t they just feed the insects to their chickens??? When I had chickens (years ago) their two favorite foods were grasshoppers and watermelon...then there was none available, they would eat the chicken feed.

I would go to the Kroger 3 times a week and pick up the “spoiled produce” that they kept for me...chickens went crazy when I backed the truck up to the chicken yard.
