UFC announced Bud Light will be its official beer as part of a partnership with Anheuser-Busch following months of controversy surrounding the beer brand that erupted earlier this year.
The mixed martial arts organization revealed Tuesday it struck a multiyear deal with the beer giant involving the Bud Light brand having a heavy presence in UFC's content in its broadcasts and online beginning in 2024.
"Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light were UFC’s original beer sponsors more than fifteen years ago. I’m proud to announce we are back in business together," UFC CEO Dana White said in a statement Tuesday. "There are many reasons why I chose to go with Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light, most importantly because I feel we are very aligned when it comes to our core values and what the UFC brand stands for. I’m looking forward to all of the incredible things we will do in the years ahead."
"Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light have always been on the cutting edge of iconic sporting moments that fans remember forever, and reuniting with UFC is a continuation of this industry leading legacy," Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth said in the press release. They were thinking of all the zeros in the check that ABInbev was writing them. AB is desperate to get their sales numbers back so that the responsible parties can claim that the slump was caused by “a small number of very vocal haters” instead of by their own actions.
UFC takes it in the can.
It depends on whether they will show the right kind of ads (e. g. , ridiculing the alphabet agenda). AB used to be edgy in the 1980s, like with the ad about the Soviet beauty contest.
The UFC handle each other’s “junk” more than all of the TSA officers at LaGuardia put together.

Ronda Rousey joined WWE wrestling in 2018. Duane "The Rock" Johnson's last "fight" was in 2016 with a few special appearances since then, including a recent one. The UFC merged with WWE wrestling in September 2023. Now it's just an extended "sports entertainment" circus. The owners don't care who advertises with them as long as they bring their checkbooks.
Transheuser-Butch advertised Tranny Light with UFC for years before their transvestite spokesman debuted and the UFC may be their last hope to resurrect a tainted brand. WWE always had homo-erotic undertones and Transheuser-Butch along with Dylan Mylvaney would fit right into that.
For all the dollars they're claiming to pay the UFC, it's likely the contract has the big "IF" clause that they'll get paid the big money IF the troon juice sales climb.
Well, I’ve been bouncing around for a reason to dump my viewership of the UFC, guess this’ll just about do it. Can always watch PFL or old PRIDE FC videos.

A-B is a conglomerate. They can afford to sit back and lose on Bud Light in the short-term while the same consumers drink their other brands. I bet by the time the Super Bowl or College Bowl Championships sales will be right back to where they were.

I bet the UFC got a good deal and probably thought they could bring this brand back from woke destruction through some incentives.
So this PROVES THAT ANYBODY WILL SELL OUT TO ANYTHING if the price is right.
While this faux pas might not torpedo the UFC on its own, it could be a sign of that organization’s long term decline due to a serious systemic “woketardation” problem. If so, we’ll soon see fights rigged so man hating feminists, homos, trannies, etc. “just so happen” to “win” against straight white males.
My dad once told me the UFC was “fake,” just like WWE “wrestling.” While not true when he said it (c. 2010), I can see Dana White’s “sport” turning into a “prearranged farce performed by weirdly costumed clowns,” as the 1947 Encyclopedia Britannica described professional “wrestling.”
I like watching mixed martial arts. Used to consider the UFC to be the gold standard. No more. Will never watch a UFC fight again. There are plenty of alternatives. Sure I am not alone.
