Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy announced this week that he opposes Israel’s invasion of Gaza and removal of Hamas, following a massacre by the terror group that left thousands of Israeli civilians killed and scores of Israelis and Americans still held hostage.
“From a U.S. perspective, from an Israel perspective, how is this actually going to achieve a good result?” Ramaswamy told Tucker Carlson in an interview posted Wednesday night on X (formerly Twitter) of Israel’s operation against Hamas currently underway:
And my concern right now, and as we’re having this conversation, it appears imminent that Israel is going to mount a ground invasion into Gaza. I’m concerned that a ground invasion into Gaza without clearly defined objectives is going to be the start of another no-win war that is not good for Israel, and not good for the United States.
...
“We don’t have, from Israel, a clear sense of what the objectives are,” he told Carlson.
Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant outlined Israel’s goals in the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip on Friday, saying that Israel aimed to destroy the Palestinian terrorist group...

This guy is a traitor.
A clear objective? Like devastate Hamas and their infrastructure and weapons? A complete misstep, is that what you’d do as POTUS if we’re attacked?
India is pro-Israel because they hate Muslims.
Trumpcwas threatening to bomb Iran
8s he a neo-con
But not this bastard apparently.
First time I saw the Swamy, I thought of a snake-oil salesman.
This fraud is a nut case.
Someone should tell Vivek Veryswampy that crap like this is not how you win over Republican primary voters or any other decent Americans for that matter.
Ditto !

I hope no independent voters will now believe that the Republican party has become a hippie anti-war-at-any-cost organisation, because of Vivek’s grandiose irresponsible statements...
While I agree that Israel has a right to self-defense and doing what they think accomplishes that goal, would it change anyones mind if an invasion and scorched Earth meant the Biden administration would admit a half million or more Palestinians to the US?
It’s a serious question and I am not trying to piss anyone off or engage in a fight, but this is a real possibility.
Israel has the perfect right of self-defense, which implies the perfect duty to defend itself
The “clear objective” is to defeat Hamas. This isn’t a “conflict.” This is a “war.” The enemy, Hamas, must be defeated.
Hinduswami is out of touch .
At least he’s free to stop focusing his energies on trying to run for president and go back to being a WEF flunky.
Is that why he is now thinking about skipping the 3rd RNC Debate?
Both Ramaswamy and Tucker Carlson are both scum of the earth
Traitors and scum
Problem is, his viewpoints are solidly aligned with his generation.
Israel is more likely to suffer from civil divisions and internecine party warfare over any long term invasion without long standing measures and goals.
Bibi's power relies on people who will not take part in the raids and home clearing; the ultraorthodox. They don't have to serve, and that has created division. While liberal's, who have issues with the High court and Bibi will be doing the heavy lifting.
Israel isn't a large country. The lack of active patrolling along the gaza border was grossly incompetent, unacceptable and entirely on the leader of Israel. Simple patrolling would fix any intelligence failures. They had zero. The response time to enemy forces was a failure, and basic security aspects and the settlement outposts failed. This a entire failure from top to bottom. There was no reason why these communes couldn't have been more prepared. Now, the same order that failed in security will lead the next security measures. We have seen this before.
