The 2024 GOP presidential campaign for former President Trump raised $24.5 million in the third quarter of this year, roughly double what any of his primary rivals reported over the same period.
The fundraising report released Sunday night by the Federal Election Commission comes at the same time Trump leads his closest primary rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, by nearly 45.5 points, according to the RealClearPolitics.com polls average.
Trump also has more than three times as much available cash than DeSantis, who has essentially been Trump's closest challenger so far in the polls. Trump has $37.5 million, compared to $12.3 million for DeSantis.
Nikki Haley – another of Trump's closest rivals and a former U.N. ambassador – now reports $11.5 million on hand.

It is funny (ha ha) that the GOPe continues to vilify Trump but uses his name in pitches for donations.
I be a lot of Haley’s money is coming from democrats
What about Trump’s ever-growing legal fees?
What about them? Are you trying to suggested we should give up on Trump because some random Demonic Party prosecutors somewhere decided to press fake charges against him? People like you will permit crooked political prosecutors to choose our president every time.
Those can’t be paid out of campaign funds
STHU. That’s not what I am saying, idiot.
One of the reasons the MSM is pushing these midget pub candidates is because they are guaranteed to bad mouth Trump.
Isn’t Trump a billionaire? Voted for him twice but can’t imagine funding his campaign.
This type of behavior from Freepers is completely inconsistent with the Mission Statement.
Either remove the thread entirely, or ban the trolls responsible, or both.
Just a little passing match between FRiends.
It’s a pitiful cash hall far ahead of even more dismal and pitiful cash halls of the other GOP candidates. These are Senate / gubernatorial race fundraising numbers. Money isn’t everything, but it sure helps a lot, and giving a huge advantage to the Democrats off the bat is not a winning strategy. The nominee must raise much more money than this to compete with the Democrats for the general election...and the general election race does not start in September - it is much earlier...and races can be lost over the summer if your opponent is allowed to define themselves and you, and the issues, before you even get into the game.

Speaking of “cash hauls”:
“SBF Used Customer Funds To Donate To Democrats Through “Straw Donor” Scheme, Former FTX Engineer Testifies”
From the article:
“One of Sam Bankman-Fried’s colleagues and former FTX Engineering Chief, Nishad Singh, testified on Monday that the FTX head used money from his Alameda Research hedge fund to make political donations even after learning it owed $13 billion to customers of FTX.
Put simply, Bankman-Fried was using customer funds to make political donations to Democrats, according to the testimony.
Singh said that when he found out about the shortfall, he confront SBF in an hour long conversation in September 2022, according to Yahoo Finance. In that conversation, SBF told him that he was going to raise more cash and cut expenses.
However, Singh then said that in the interim, “he continued to receive transfers from Alameda and allow Bankman-Fried associates to use the money to donate to U.S. Democratic candidates”.
According to the report, Singh called it a “straw donor” scheme.”
