I heard some talk show host last week commenting that fund-raising reports would tell the tale. He was confident that Trump's reporting would show a decline in support as conservatives were moving to Nikki Haley. It appears he was a little off the mark as Trump continues to raise more than any other of the GOP candidates.

It is funny (ha ha) that the GOPe continues to vilify Trump but uses his name in pitches for donations.

I don't pretend to understand what happened here -- who could when over half the posts have been removed -- but this is absurd to have a fairly benign President Trump fund-raising thread where over half of the thread is completely gone.

This type of behavior from Freepers is completely inconsistent with the Mission Statement.

Either remove the thread entirely, or ban the trolls responsible, or both.

It’s a pitiful cash hall far ahead of even more dismal and pitiful cash halls of the other GOP candidates. These are Senate / gubernatorial race fundraising numbers. Money isn’t everything, but it sure helps a lot, and giving a huge advantage to the Democrats off the bat is not a winning strategy. The nominee must raise much more money than this to compete with the Democrats for the general election...and the general election race does not start in September - it is much earlier...and races can be lost over the summer if your opponent is allowed to define themselves and you, and the issues, before you even get into the game.
