House Republicans took revenge on their Democrat colleagues for voting with eight Republican lawmakers to oust Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as speaker of the House.
Just hours after the House voted Tuesday on the motion to vacate the speakership, House Speaker pro-tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) kicked Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) from her Capitol Building hideaway office. A video circulating on X showed Pelosi’s office being vacated just after Republican leadership gave the order. Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD), the second-ranking member of the House Democrat leadership, was also asked to vacate his hideaway office in retaliation on Wednesday.

What were they doing there in the first place? They should have been out of those offices day one.

Why did McCarthy let them keep their posh offices?
The Dems allowed prominent GOP members to keep plush offices even when the Dems were in the majority. This is a scratch my back I’ll scratch yours type of thing.
Why did Pelosi have any special treatment anyway? She’s nothing but an old hag rep from a dystopian mess of a district. Treat her as such.

This legislation prevents illegal immigrants from accessing the Earned Income Tax Credit under President Obama’s illegal executive orders granting amnesty.
“Granting any sort of amnesty to illegal aliens would only reward criminal behavior and further encourage the type of actions we are seeing along our borders. Many cities across the nation, including several in North Carolina, have enacted official sanctuary policies for illegal immigrants or have been refusing to comply with detainer requests from the Department of Homeland Security. Sanctuary cities allow dangerous criminal aliens to remain on the streets, creating a dangerous environment for citizens and law enforcement. Congressman McHenry is also a cosponsor of the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act of 2019, which would allow victims of violent crimes and felonies committed by an illegal alien to sue the responsible sanctuary city or jurisdiction. McHenry has and will continue to support efforts to curtail the flow of illegal immigrants into our country and will not support any form of amnesty for illegal immigrants currently in the United States.”

IMO - Pelosi and Styner are the opposition, democrats stick together, the traitors are the Republicans that voted with them, what will the leadership do about them?
