Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has raised eyebrows by publicly vowing to deport anyone who comes across the border illegally during the Biden administration if he wins the White House next year.
“Everyone that has come illegally under Biden. We got to go — they’re sending back,” DeSantis said. “That’s going to be the first priority.
“We will hire more Border Patrol agents and more removal agents to make sure that even if illegal immigrants cross, they will swiftly be found and deported,” the website states.
The campaign official provided no further details on how DeSantis will deport the record-breaking number of migrants

We really can’t wait another 16 months before we even begin to do this, assuming a positive outcome for the GOP in 2024. I’m of the opinion that we’ve passed the point of no return for a lot of issues in this country, illegals being one of the main problems.

We took a trip to Canada last month and had to deal with customs and border inspection going both in and out of Canada. I HATE us being entirely legal and subjected to inspections while there is NO southern border at all.

Did he articulate how he is going to get around that pesky, Birthright Citizen thingamajig? You know, the thing that Pres Trump wanted to get rid of.
Did he articulate how he is going to eliminate the refugee resettlement programs? You know the ones that Pres Trump tried to defund but couldn’t because they were part of a budget package. However, Pres Trump being Pres Trump, he found a way around that and given that he can set the numbers, he just started to reduce the numbers allowed in every year. So much so, that the companies...not charities even though they have ‘charities’ in their names....were firing folks and going out of business.
I started in law enforcement in 1997. Every year, the Border Patrol tries to hire folks. Every year. It’s a lousy job.
Pres Trump, using the powers that he had, used the law to make that job, not so lousy. The Border Patrol was actually allowed to do their jobs instead of babysit illegals.
