Trump is more George Wallace than Ronald Reagan I think. Unquestionably though, Trump did a better job vetting judges than Reagan or either Bush.

What I look for from Trump is a large amount of destruction of bureaucracy. Were I he, on my first day in office I would issue EOs disarming EVERY FBI agent, I would reduce the size of the BATFE by 75%, I would order every person in the State Department with personnel management responsibility to deliver a list of 75% of their direct reports that would be let go.
Day two would be even better.
I loved Reagan but too much, way too much was left undone. Trump can do it.

I rather suspect that the polls have had their methodology messed up again due to various groups refusing to cooperate and the inability of the polling models to know who it is and to what extent.
Then we also have the effect of the dataharvesting which pulls in ballots primarily of people who don’t care about the election at all.
The pile of cheeseburgers was not actually a mile high, he protested his innocence in regarding Russia-collusion when the left wanted him to be guilty, and he had countervailing opinions to their experts.
