Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) should resign because of the “extremely serious” federal charges he faces.

MARGARET BRENNAN: I want to ask you about some democratic politics. You were outspoken about George Santos, the New York congressman and said he should resign because of all the legal issues and ethical issues he was facing. Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, as you know, has just been indicted on bribery charges. Should he resign? And what do you think of his statement that it has to do with him being a Latino?

I grew up in Sunnyside, thank God I don’t live there anymore, but a lot of friends I still talk to tell me NOBODY can stand her, everybody hates her guts. To me she’s just another example of the extreme corruption in NYC when it comes to elections, they’re all fixed. It’s how Schumer constantly gets reelected, how Hochul got elected despite being blatantly corrupt. The Democrats wanted another Marxist so they installed AOC.

AOC is correct. Menendez is too corrupt. He must resign.
Personally, I think Menendez is scum, but I don’t think he should resign, he was charged once before, and the jury acquitted him.
If he gets convicted, sure he should resign or be expelled from the Senate.
I don’t like idea of anyone being forced to resign over accusations no matter how serious they are, until someone is convicted of a crime, the voters should be only ones to remove someone from office.
Trump has been indicted in 4 separate cases, should he be forced to drop out of the race, of course not, it’s for the voters to decide Trump’s fate IMO.
If this becomes the rule in Washington, how many Republicans will face similar accusations.

Wonder if all these Democrat calls for Menendez’ resignation for crimes he has not yet been convicted of, have anything to do with Trump being “convicted” before he even goes to trial? I wouldn’t doubt it.

Probably the dead outnumbering plus I heard they get illegals to vote which is why she is so gung ho for illegal aliens. NY is ridiculous when it comes to registering, all you need is proof of residence like a phone bill
