Wonder if all these Democrat calls for Menendez’ resignation for crimes he has not yet been convicted of, have anything to do with Trump being “convicted” before he even goes to trial? I wouldn’t doubt it.
I think it has more to do with protecting Biden from unwanted attention of the low-information voters. All the talk about suitcases of cash and gold bars in the senator’s home is easier to understand than shell companies. And when the senator is exposed as taking bribes, it makes it easier to fathom that the president was doing similar.
