China is leading the way in a growing anti-Western economic alliance known as BRICS, a Wall Street term that has morphed into a diplomatic and trading power bloc that threatens U.S. interests abroad.
Originally formed by Brazil, Russia, India and China in 2009, these countries invited South Africa to join the political group a year later, when an “S” was added to the BRIC acronym. At the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg last month, six more nations joined the confederation.
Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were just admitted to the coalition at the annual BRICS meeting. Dozens of other countries have expressed an interest in joining the growing alliance. It’s a positive development for Beijing and Moscow but contrary to what Washington needs.

Starting with Obama’s first Russia sanctions in 2016 in retaliation for the lie that they stole the election from Hillary sanctions have been a disaster for America. The final Biden sanctions of cutting off SWIFT and seizing Russian gold and deposits in western banks taught the world that they can have their economy destroyed in a whim.
That gave BRICS rocket fuel to the already burning fire.
Using the dollar as a weapon was a pig stupid mistake for America. Dedollarization is the existential threat to America. Clowns like this guy are openly upset that Iran and the Saudis are burying the hatchet and are hoping hostility resumes. And that was an odd part of the article where he was noting that BRICS is not a security agreement and they do not require others the mutually aid each other.
DC is willing to try anything in this world except being hostile and using subterfuge and power plays. Try are oblivious to the hate for America they are creating.

Brazil is particularly nasty. It has a non-extradition treaty with the U.S. If a Brazilian national commits murder in the U.S., and escapes back to Brazil, that country will not allow extradition of the suspect for trial. And Brazil actually gets money from the U.S. If you’ve ever experienced the arrogance of Brazilian nationals once they are here, that is one of the reasons why they are so disrespectful of U.S. law, and think they are better than you.
Maybe the BRICS are taking what Henry Kissinger said seriously.

As the world heads towards 9700 million population by 2050, the 375 million (3.9 %) in the US will enjoy a smaller and smaller piece of the pie.
The post WW II situation of economic inequality among nations will be replaced by a new situation of economic inequality within nations.
The rest of the world will look more like Brazil and India.
Weaponizing our dollar because some Ukrainians paid millions to the Biden family was foolish - and a warning to all the “small nations” of the world. Either use another currency, or be subject to the whims of, and sanctions imposed by, corrupt American oligarchs.
It's not America's security that faces a threat; it's the American Empire, which simply cannot be sustained without deficit spending.
Every previous global empire understood that if the colonies couldn't provide a source of funds, then the empire simply couldn't last.

There are other nations which will not extradite a citizen to face a death penalty case in other countries.
