With the coup this week in Gabon, you must wonder who benefits, other than the military officers who staged the coup. It appears this nation was under a de facto monarchy with a ruling family, who kept their country in the French orbit. In the other cases, the militaries moved their countries away from France and closer to Russia and China. If this is the case, the Moscow-Beijing axis has gained more ground in their efforts to push the West out of Africa.
