Dem Rep. Chu: People ‘Should Find that Things are Less Expensive than Normal’ — They’re ‘Tired After 3 Years of COVID’
Breitbart ^ | 08/07/2023 | Ian hatchett

Posted on 08/07/2023 5:13:14 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

On Monday’s edition of NBC’s “MTP Now, Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) blamed the close polling margins between President Joe Biden and 2024 GOP candidate former President Donald Trump in part on people being “tired after three years of COVID,” and responded to the President’s poor economic polling numbers by stating that “We have a reduction in inflation. So, for people who are looking at their pocketbook, they should find that things are less expensive than normal.”

In response to polling showing Biden and Trump in a dead heat, Chu said, “I can’t believe it either. However, I do say that, once people learn what the benefits of Bidenomics are, that they will understand that this is transformative, that we will have so many more jobs — already, we have 13 million jobs, 800,000 of them being good-paying manufacturing jobs. But I think that they will see, as the bridges are opened and as the new factories are opened, that this is something that will transform this economy for the better. But I do think people are tired after three years of COVID, they’re a little weary right now.”

Unbelievable. So, if inflation goes from 10% per annum to 8% per annum, prices are DECREASING?

Staggering stupidity on display...but she IS a Congresscritter and she IS a Democrat.

I just stopped at the supermarket deli to get some sliced ham for sandwiches. They young man asked “How much do you want?” I replied “eight ounces.” He said “We don’t sell it by the ounce, only by the pound.”

“Here we go again,” I thought to myself. I asked him “What fraction of a pound is eight ounces?”

“I dunno.”

I asked him “OK, how many ounces in a pound?”

He said “I dunno. Maybe I learned it in school, but I forgot. I never needed it in real life in school.”

I guess he doesn’t think working the deli counter is “real life.” I gave up, shook my head, and said “Give me a half pound.”

My wife said “Maybe they hire kids with learning disabilities.” At least he got himself dressed today.

He’s got a great future in Congress.

The democrats were having a great time blaming Trump for everything during the stupid covid hysteria.

My prediction is 2024 isn’t going to go quite so well for the democrats.

I monitor democrat media and for the first time, cracks are starting to show in their support for Biden/Harris.
A few democrats willing to take the heat, are starting to ask “age questions” about Biden and electability issues for Harris.

The 2024 election provides a lot of opportunity for Republicans who are willing to become ruthless and “drive home a stake.”

Don’t think SHE is doing ANY grocery shopping IN PERSON.

PLAIN WHITE SANDWICH BREAD AT WAL-MART WAS 84 cents a loaf. End of July, it was $1.38.

A 64% increase.

The Political Left has decided that a reduction in the inflation rate is the same thing as a reduction in the price of that product.

Anyone out there paying LESS rent in August 2023 than they paid in August 2022?

Anyone out there paying LESS for food in August 2023 than they paid in August 2022?

Of course not!
