Biden Energy Secretary called Chinese official before US tapped oil reserves
The New York Post ^ | 08/04/2023 | Josh Christenson

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm spoke with a senior Chinese energy official the same week that the US began tapping its Strategic Petroleum Reserve in November 2021 — later selling some oil to a Beijing-backed firm linked to first son Hunter Biden, newly uncovered documents show.

Granholm called China National Energy Administration Chairman Zhang Jianhua for a half-hour conversation on Nov. 21 *** Two days after the Granholm-Zhang call, ***President Biden announced the release of 50 million barrels of oil from the reserve in an effort to bring down gas prices — “the largest-ever” energy stockpile sale in US history.

*** A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said the following day that Beijing had arranged for the release of its own crude oil reserves, but reports later indicated that China had instead boosted its supply — even buying up fuel from the US.

Around 900,000 barrels of oil were sold to Unipec America, a subsidiary of the Chinese government-owned gas company Sinopec, which in turn had received billions of dollars from BHR Partners — a private equity firm co-founded by Hunter Biden, who held a 10% stake in BHR until at least late 2021. *** The Biden White House has withdrawn 260 million barrels from the reserve, which as of last month had dropped to its lowest level since 1983, Energy Department data shows.

*** “As a result, China may now control the world’s largest stockpile of oil, with total crude inventories estimated at 950 million barrels,” they added.

If you view Biden’s actions through the prism of him being the Manchurian President, his conduct makes sense.

From open borders to the fentanyl crisis, from giving away our military stockpiles to depleting our strategic petroleum reserves.

Impeach her. House Republicans need to stop pussyfooting around. Next step is to defund the Department of Energy. They have failed to do their most basic of mission.

A single nasty chomo tyrant sealed the fate of the USA. One last huzzah before he goes to the depths of hell where he belongs to seal his name as the “most historic” president in US history AND the commie historians will write him as some great hero of civilization as all around them burn.

Yes, the same people who said that it is racist to claim that COVID came from a Chinese lab.

Bagman Hunter was too busy that week, so Granholm had to fill in.

I read this as an allowance for the reunification of China and Taiwan. Can’t defend Taiwan if you don’t have fuel.

Seems to be the DemocRAT method for more grifting. Clinton tapped the oil reserves, and much of that oil went through Occidental Oil, one of the Gore Family historic investments. I’m sure many democRATS received their 10%.

Blacklisted Chinese Military Manufacturer
Acquired U.S. Stealth Technology, CFIUS Approval
Through Relationship W/ Hunter and Joe Biden
Red State ^ | 8/02/2023 | Jennifer Van Laar
FRPosted on 8/3/2023, 12:19:58 AM by SeekAndFind

(EDITOR’S NOTE: This piece was originally published on Octobe r 24, 2020, and is the fourth in a series of articles exploring Hunter Biden and John Kerry stepson, Chris Heinz’s, business dealings with Chinese entities. Devon Archer testified before Congressional investigators on July 31, 2023, that Jonathan Li, BHR’s CEO, was a customer of Hunter and Joe Biden’s family business. RedState reported on October 23, 2020, that Hunter, Joe, and Li had met for coffee in Beijing during Joe Biden’s official trip in 2013, days before BHR was formed. Additional reporting and research in this series have been provided by RedState’s Scott Hounsell.)

For the last 50 years, the United States military has enjoyed air superiority over essentially every other nation on the planet. In addition to good-ol’ American ingenuity and freedom to create, this superiority was created and is maintained by the government’s support of ongoing research and development to maintain that superiority. The research and development process for new fighter jets can take decades, as with the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). China has always lagged significantly behind the United States in this department, but they’ve recently made major strides.

A significant factor in China’s progress comes as a result of the 2015 acquisition of Henniges Automotive, a Michigan company whose anti-vibration (stealth) technology is used on the F-35 (stealth) fighter, by Aviation Industry Corp of China (AVIC), the state-owned entity that produces fighter jets for the Chinese military.

Guess whose company partnered with AVIC in that acquisition? That’s right – Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Chris Heinz’s BHR.

As a refresher: BHR is a Chinese venture capital firm in which Rosemont Seneca Thornton (the Biden/Heinz/Archer/Bulger partnership) owned a 30 percent stake, and which is majority-owned and controlled by the state-owned Bank of China. (Hunter Biden still owns 10 percent through his Skaneateles, LLC entity.)

Circa 2011-—Biden’s significant China tour after 32 years
2011-08-17 05:22

by Wu Liming, Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in New York

BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) — U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will visit China on Wednesday, 32 years after he first came to China as a member of the first U.S. delegation following the normalization of China-U.S. relations.

Biden has witnessed the ups and downs of the bilateral ties between the two countries over the past three decades and more. When he set foot on China in 1979, the two countries had just ended decades of hostility and signed a joint communique establishing diplomatic relations, setting the cornerstone for bilateral ties.

By the time Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the United States in January this year, the relationship between both countries had grown into a cooperative partnership based on mutual respect and common interest.

Biden’s current visit to China may well be considered a continuation and extension of his China tour 32 years ago. It is a relay of the drive to deepening the U.S.-China relations.

“A rising China is a positive, positive development, not only for China but for America and the world writ large,” wrote Biden 32 years ago as a young member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Addressing the opening session of the U.S.-China Strategic & Economic Dialogue in May, Biden said he still maintained his words from over three decades ago.

Thanks to the efforts from both sides, China-U.S.relations have gained tremendous momentum in the 21st century. Bilateral cooperation have extended to a wide range of fields including politics, economy, science, culture and other major international and regional issues.

Just as Biden himself put it, “It’s no exaggeration to say that our relationship and how we manage it will help shape the 21st century.”

The United States and China are the first and second biggest economies in the world, with close economic ties.

According to U.S. statistics, the United States exported over 110 billion U.S. dollars’ worth of goods and service to China last year, which helped to create more than 500,000 jobs in the United States.

With a combined share of one-third of the world’s economy and one-fifth of the world’s trade volume, China and the United States share ties that go beyond their boundaries and have profound global impact.

The international community would be more than happy to see China and the United States join hands to tackle global challenges and strive for a robust, sustainable and balanced world economy.

Exchange of high-level visits across the Pacific Ocean had served to promote China-U.S. relations. The New York Times said in a recent article that Biden’s coming China tour is aimed primarily to consolidate ties with the Chinese leadership.

It is true that China and the United States have differences. However, the two countries’ common interest far outweighs their differences. Or as Biden put it, “We have much more to agree on than to disagree on.”

If they adhere to the principle of equality and mutual respect, the two countries will be able to broaden their common ground and manage to handle properly the thorny issues between them.

As the United States’ largest foreign creditor, China has much at stake over U.S. economic policy changes and a stable U.S. dollar. Therefore, Washington’s handling of all the related issues in a responsible manner will contribute to the steady growth of China-U.S. ties and the stable development of the world economy given the mounting concern about European and U.S. debt woes and fragile global economic recovery.

We are in a s**t load of a mess in this country. We are screwed because of the one world government communist dimocrats in Sodom on the Potomac. I fear that if the Red Chinese and the Soviets got together and hit us, we would not survive. Our readiness is at a low as bad as before December 7th, 1941. We are poorly equipped, poorly trained, poorly led, poorly outfitted, vastly shorthanded in fighting MEN and women. We are outfitted with a bunch of pink pannies from homo land and men who don’t know if they are men or a woman and want to be the first soldier/sailor/marine/airman to have a baby. We’re screwed because Pink Panny Joe will not use nukes to defend us. They would harm the poor environment.
