Florida for sure doesn’t need any hurricanes this year. Insurance companies are already itchy to leave. Some have already.
The Carolina coast one is moving away and the second will fall in behind north and east of Bermuda.
This is hanging over Florida like a Sword of Damocles. If the big one hits Miami, then there won’t be enough U-Hauls for folks wanting to leave Florida.

Another Business/Economy Topic abuse. Your Illinois lack of knowledge re: tropical systems is on display.
Wow, the NOAA has changed the way it presents the information: used to be they had lots of little maps so we could see the history and forecasts easily.
And this source of “news”???? The one near NC has 40% or *less* chance of becoming a sub-tropical cyclone windspeeds *under* 40mph).
And *both* are predicted to turn to the NE. The one near NC may bring rain and high winds to the coast as it passes along, the other will run up the middle of the Atlantic.
Neither is forecast to go anywhere near Florida!!!!!
Strong cold front passed over east coast yesterday
Temps went from 95 to 70 overnight
The front will push the systems far out into Atlantic
DeSantis needs a hurricane to bump him in the polls.
What is a cold front? Asking for my neighbor in Texas.

Batten down the hatches.
You’re welcome!
A hurricane would bury DeSantis. he’s not prepared to help Florida now he’s long gone from this State. The insurance companies have increased the rates so far that no one will be able to live in Florida.
