I think it’s funny how people think high level women’s sports are just now becoming LGBTQ. They have always been there.
It’s just way more out in the open now.
And still I really don’t care who people sleep with, but when it starts affecting their politics, that’s when I care. And their political values suck.
I have gay friends that are very conservative on most things, and just want to be left alone.
We are in agreement 100%. I used to work in collegiate athletics. I found the women’s coaches to be the easiest to deal with. They had a sense of humor that was lacking among the “testosterone” fueled men’s coaches.
But in the 15 years I did that…no one talked about this crap. Because….it was their workplace. And it wasn’t an appropriate place to talk about stuff like who you were attracted to.
Then I worked in a hospital. I was honestly surprised to find a high % of the ED staff to be LGBT. They were great at their jobs. It had nothing to do with their sexual preference. They cared about getting patients through their trauma, and on their way.
There is a lot of attention about this stuff on FR and other places. My experience in the real world is no one was “stuffing it down my throat.” It wasn’t hidden. But for the most part it wasn’t relevant.
And this LGBT-whatever nonsense is mainly driven by non-homosexuals with an agenda, and when they achieve their aims, the gays will be first against the wall, once they are no longer useful.
