It’s one thing to not want to be involved in the war. It’s another thing totally to be rooting for Russia, the invader, to win—which is what some Freepers are doing.
Because that’s the gravy train for the “elected” GOP.
Good question, why do our elected Republicans support, Ukraine, while the voters do not?

Unfortunately the provoking of Russia will continue from the Biden-RINO side until Russia does something which will be called Pearl Harbor and or 9/11 maybe even January 6th for all I know.
Whatever it takes to con Americans into joining the fighting.
Without a doubt, the US under the current destructive figureheads is in large measure responsible for this war and its consequent loss of life and tragedy for all involved. Biden characterized a Russian invasion of Ukraine as imminent, over and over publicly, for a prolonged period, but did nothing to stop it. It very much appears he wanted this invasion - or at least those who control him did.
The Ukrainian people deserve better, the average Russian people deserve better, and the children whose lives are affected by this war deserve safe and happy lives that aren’t put at risk by stupid adults - which is generally the kind of ‘adults’ that wind up pursuing political power.
I wonder how many of them privately agree with Pence putting Ukraine over US cities.
Republicans despise their base, and electing Trump only made them less interested and with greater animosity than ever before/
I am not sure they are rooting for Russia as much as hoping the establishment loses.
