Where is the headline backed up in this article? DeSantis is quoted sayin the indictments helped Trump and that the indictments were a miscarriage of justice. Well all reasonable people agree with that. Where is the part where DeSantis was using this to explain away why he is behind though (I mean obviously Trump was ahead anyway already)?

Actually I heard DeSantis fired a great number of his staff because he found a better way to compete against Trump.
It has to do with the unfair advantage Trump is getting from his flying machines — his jet and helicopter.
In a mammoth hanger somewhere in the Everglades, DeSantis has built an awesome flying machine that will make it easier for him to quickly jump across the country in style.
Better still! He also gains maximum campaign visibility, say, at baseball parks and football stadiums with fly-overs. Ron's aircraft is a big and bold statement and features the three-blue-star American flag logo that was popular long before Betsy Ross went to work.
The campaign launch of this aircraft is TOP SECRET, but your intrepid FR reporter nonetheless got a sneak at Ron's innovative flying machine.

In my case it is on the money. I like my Florida governor very much; but the more they attack Trump, who obviously has personal character faults, the more I am inclined to support him. I just hope he has learned from what he has been through. His patting himself on the back about his warp-speed so-called vaccines (that I think killed my brother) and support of Fauci is what mostly turns me off him. Nevertheless, I am voting for Trump, and hoping for DeSantis in 2028 (probably beyond my appointed years). Hope spring eternal, but I am afraid American freedom is lost.

guy who might have married the same type of individual that
