Exactly.
Ron's wife tweeted a link to the above "God created DeSantis" video ad on November 4, 2022.
It is absolutely cringe ridiculous, and it was what prompted Trump to first use the "Ron DeSanctimonious" nickname in a rally speech two days later, on November 6, 2022.
I had seen the video so I knew why Trump said what he said (and totally agreed with it), but most in the MAGA crowd did not like the slam because 1) they hadn't seen the video, and 2) at the time there was a lot of goodwill for DeSantis among MAGA because he was seen as one of us.
We know better now.
