Treating his pressure sore has resulted in a slough of other emerging difficulties -- breaking-down of the skin on his back being the main one. It's in his best interest that he will be admitted into a facility where he can get the adequate care he needs, and as mentioned, I'll bring his home and his work to him at the facility.
JimRob, I agree with CFW's post about hydration. One of my family members has been in a wheelchair for 25 years. If she doesn't stay hydrated to the point of UTI, she has a seizure.
Is it possible that headache you had could have been not a stroke, but a small seizure and a brief blackout? Please keep hydrated, because you don't want to have to go down that route of seizure meds on top of everything else.
Don't forget; it's easier for guys—you can pee in a jar! So put out three bottles of water on your computer desk every morning and make sure you drink all of it each day. The usual bottled water size is 500 ml (16.9 fl oz). That's 50.7 oz, and you'll probably have some tea or coffee with your meals. That should do you.

I had a stroke 4 years ago and their scan also found an abnormality. Since it didn't actually cause the stroke I suppose its a "normal" abnormality. Glad yours was too! :)
