Trump Pledges to Obliterate Deep State in High Energy Bedminster Speech

Donald Trump had a strong response to Joe Biden’s DOJ arrest of him. Trump gave a high-energy speech at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Trump notably pledged to destroy the deep state.
The Bedminster crowd was rocking when Trump took the stage Tuesday night.
The crowd even sang happy birthday to Trump.
Trump received the loudest applause when he told the audience, ” I will totally obliterate the Deep State, we will obliterate the Deep State and we know who they are. They want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom. They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you. And I am the only one that can save this nation because you know they are not coming after me. They are coming after you and I am just in their way.”
Trump attacked Biden for arresting him, saying, “Joe Biden will forever be remembered as not only the most corrupt president in the history of our country, but perhaps, even more importantly, the president who, together with a band of his closest thugs, misfits, and Marxists, tried to destroy American democracy.”
Trump highlighted that polling shows Biden is arresting his top political opponent, telling the crowd, “A corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges, of which he and numerous other presidents would be guilty, right in the middle of a presidential election in which he is losing very badly.”
Trump referred to Jack Smith as a thug and deranged, coining the nickname Deranged Jack Smith. Trump also noted that Jack Smith’s wife produced Michelle Obama’s documentary.
Trump ended his energetic speech by saying, “On November 5th, 2024, justice will be done. We will take back our country, and we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Karl Rove (no friend of Trump, of course) in his WSJ (not a Trump friend either) column, laid out some damning evidence that the Dems have on Trump.
The Dems have been trying to undermine Trump for 8 years now, but this time Trump has apparently done it to himself.
I had thought that is was a simpler case, just another annoyance, but apparently there's some lying on record and some misuse of classified info.
Read the article for yourself, I wish I had better news.

I don’t recall him saying obliterate the Deep state as a campaign promise in 2016, but maybe he did.
But if he did, from Wiki:
Critics of Trump’s use of the term ‘deep state’ maintain that it is a conspiracy theory with no basis in reality...
So, it was a conspiracy theory at some point.
We know this, there wouldn’t have been a mandate to obliterate the FBI in 2016.
The FBI has shown it’s part of the Deep State..
And it’s obliteration would go a long way to ending the Deep State..
Americans now know for sure that there’s even something called a Deep State..
Easier to go and obliterate something that some thought was a conspiracy theory not too long ago..
Drain the swamp was a campaign promise too.
It appears the swamp can fill up fast, even with Rs if they are Deep State at heart.
The whole Fing temple might have to be obliterated and go back to square one..
That may not be a mandate, but that may be the only way to obliterate the Deep State..

Check your sources. The were no classified docs, they are declassified the moment Trump removed them from the white house and took them with him. As for lying, it’s completely up to interpretation and context.
