Most organizations have an arc that rises and falls, and the fall begins with bloat, then political activism (due to any sizable organizations delusions of influence, political power is too alluring even if the cause has nothing to do with politics), then outright financial corruption, then finally descent into irrelevance or criminal demise, or both.
But since BLM as an organization didn’t even have a proper cause, and was taking a lot of money from sources that wanted nothing more than to sow discord, they skipped straight from political power to the corruption part of the arc and quickly into demise.

BLM was formed by Obama/Holder, with the tacit protection of the DOJ/FBI, to promote chaos and push political narratives - particularly, Federal control of 3000+ local, independent US police forces.

They are no longer useful, so they are being allowed to wither, and their “founders” to finish looting the protection money they rec’d from corporations.
Distributing tax-payer funded "reparations" to people based solely on melanin content will result in all of that money winding up in the hands of the owners of luxury car dealerships, jewelry stores and other "symbols of success" in the 'hood'.
The end result will be that the recipients end up broke and will complain that no one taught them how to manage money, so we need a new round of payouts which will go on into perpetuity. Once that "reparations" pandora's box is opened, it will never be closed.
