Nobody knows for sure how DeSantis will do on the national stage. What I do know is that Trump knew about the planned voter fraud in early 2020, yet somehow failed to stop it even with the entire Executive branch at his command. If he couldn't stop it in 2020 with the DOJ answering to him, how is he going to stop it in 2024 with the DOJ working for Biden (or whoever is running the show)? It's not a question of ego but of who can do a better job of safeguarding our elections. Right now that's looking more like the guy who actually arrested fraudulent voters.

You do realize that DeSantis won’t know who the Washington players are either,
unless the RNC and GOPe suggest people like they did for Trump.

Neither the Ds or Rs want Trump, so they are biding their time.

If they can control Ron, they’ll back him. If they can’t they’ll refuse to work
with him.

When Ron was doing his Conservative thing in Florida, did it occur to you
that Washington was mum on all of it?

If Trump had done those things they would have attacked him ferociously.
